<p>Dogecoin is getting hit hard. It’s down 4.6% in the last day, now at $0.06947. That’s worse than the rest of the market, which is already weak.</p><p>The drop came after <a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/dogecoin-price-prediction-as-doge-keeps-flashing-buy-signals/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">the DOGE price</a> broke down below a key support level $0.070. Trading volume shot up 27% to $642 million, sellers are clearly in charge. Right now, DOGE is testing $0.07. That number matters. It’s been a turning point before in past cycles.</p><p>The RSI is at 41. That tells us momentum is leaning bearish, but we’re not in oversold territory yet. Other things aren’t helping either. They pulled up a chart covering over ten years of price action and overlaid a cycle indicator on top.</p><p>That same indicator flipped upward before every big rally in the past. The latest chart places <a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/will-dogecoin-doge-rally-this-week-key-price-levels-to-watch/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">the Dogecoin price</a> back inside that historical support area, with the analyst arguing this is typically where long-term accumulation begins before broader market interest returns.&nbsp;</p><p>Even so, the pattern alone does not confirm a bottom, as confirmation still depends on buyers defending support and reversing the broader downtrend.</p><h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="dogecoin-news-ecosystem-growth-whale-activity">Dogecoin News: Ecosystem Growth, Whale Activity</h2><p>Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus, better known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, weighed in on where things stand.</p><p>He called this a normal bear market, not some kind of panic crash. In his view, these downturns usually last three to four years. But he also made it clear, no two cycles are exactly the same. His message is patience. Don’t hold your breath for a quick bounce back.</p><p>There are also encouraging developments. Spot DOGE ETFs recorded net inflows of 345,130 on July 21, marking their first positive day since June 17 after more than a month without fresh inflows. Although the amount remains small, it breaks a prolonged period of weak demand.</p><p>There’s also some building happening around Dogecoin. A project called DogeOS is on the way, it’s an application layer that works with Ethereum’s system, backed by the MyDoge team.&nbsp;</p><p>They raised $6.9 million, led by Polychain Capital, and are aiming to launch sometime between June and August 2026. If it comes together, the network could run apps, DeFi tools, <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="https://captainaltcoin.com/best-ai-crypto-projects/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">AI</a> services, and blockchain games, all using DOGE.</p><p>On top of that, the Dogecoin Foundation keeps updating its public roadmap. Those factors provide a stronger fundamental backdrop than price action alone.</p><p>Also, the broader market remains cautious.
