Today's top crypto gainers and losers today list tells two very different stories. A privacy-focused coin nobody expected is leading the rally. Meanwhile, a governance token that just hit an all-time high is now crashing hard. Here's the full crypto gainers and losers list, tables first, explanations after.

Crypto Market Today: The Bigger Picture First

Before the individual coins, here's the wider crypto news today setting the tone:

Total crypto market capitalization sits near $2.34 trillion, up roughly 1.1% in the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin news today: BTC is holding near $64,150, staying fairly calm while altcoins swing hard around it.

Bitcoin dominance sits near 56.8%, with Ethereum holding close to 9.9% of the total market.

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index sits at 49 today, a Neutral reading that shows the market currently unsure which way to lean

Real-world asset tokens are having a strong day, with Ondo leading that group higher on fresh tokenization news.

Several smaller-cap tokens are seeing sharp, opposite moves, a sign that today's action is driven by individual project news rather than one broad trend.

With that backdrop set, here's a look at today's biggest movers.

Top Crypto Gainers Today

1. Why Is Midnight (NIGHT) Up Today?

Midnight leads today's top crypto gainers today list, up 35.8% to $0.02383, with a marketcap of $395.764 million. Midnight is a privacy-focused network tied to Cardano, built by Charles Hoskinson around zero-knowledge proof technology. Renewed attention around its AI expansion plans and ecosystem growth reports appears to be driving today's sharp rebound after months spent near record lows. Check this Midnight price prediction for detailed information about token rally.

Risk to know: Midnight has swung sharply in both directions recently, so a strong day like this doesn't rule out another fast reversal.

2. Why Is LAB Up Today?

LAB climbs 33.6% to $0.1768, with a market cap of $56.967 million. LAB positions itself as an all-in-one trading ecosystem, combining trading tools, analytics, and community incentives around its token. The coin has also drawn scrutiny recently over founder conduct accusations and large on-chain wallet movements, so today's rally is happening alongside real controversy, not just positive news.

Risk to know: Coins facing public manipulation accusations can see extreme volatility in either direction, so caution is warranted here.

3. Why Is Talus (US) Up Today?

Talus rises 16.2% to $0.04383, with a market cap of $439.055 million. Talus is an AI-agent infrastructure protocol built on the Sui network, designed to let autonomous agents run on-chain tasks. The token has been highly volatile lately, and today's gain fits its pattern of sharp, sentiment-driven swings tied to the broader AI-crypto narrative.

Risk to know: Talus has moved by double digits in both directions within the same week, so today's strength could reverse quickly.

4. Why Is Siren (SIREN) Up Today?

Siren gains 12.8% to $0.03683, with a market cap of $26.673 million. Siren is an AI-powered meme project on BNB Chain, combining meme culture with an AI trading agent and a planned decentralized exchange. The token has been extremely volatile after a major whale sell-off weeks ago, and today's bounce looks like a partial recovery from those lows.

Risk to know: A small number of large wallets reportedly control a big share of supply, which can trigger sudden crashes without warning.

5. Why Is Ondo (ONDO) Up Today?

Ondo rounds out today's gainers, up 10.5% to $0.4004, with a market cap of $1.949 billion. Ondo Finance focuses on bringing real-world assets, including tokenized stocks and treasuries, onto public blockchains. Ondo news around tokenized stock access through a major clearing house partnership is fueling today's steady, comparatively calmer gain.

Risk to know: RWA tokens like ONDO can still see sharp swings around regulatory headlines tied to tokenized securities.

1. Why Is DeXe (DEXE) Down Today?

DeXe leads today's biggest fallers, down 84.2% to $5.05, with a market cap of $487.221 million. DeXe is a DAO governance protocol that had just rallied to a fresh all-time high near $48.89 days ago. Heavy profit-taking, whale distribution, and thin liquidity have since triggered one of the sharpest reversals seen in this list, wiping out most of its recent parabolic run. To analyze the dip deeply read this DEXE price prediction in detail.

Risk to know: Tokens coming off a fast, parabolic rally are especially prone to giving back gains just as quickly, exactly what's unfolding here.

2. Why Is Lorenzo Protocol (BANK) Down Today?

Lorenzo Protocol falls 23.8% to $0.196, with a market cap of $82.522 million. Lorenzo is an institutional-style asset management platform that packages yield strategies into tradable on-chain fund tokens. BANK had exploded higher in recent weeks on Bitcoin DeFi hype, and today's drop looks like classic profit-taking after that explosive run.

Risk to know: Tokens that rallied hundreds of percent in days can correct just as fast once early buyers start locking in gains.

3. Why Is Cash Cat (CASHCAT) Down Today?

Cash Cat slides 23.1% to $0.06285, with a market cap of $62.15 million. Cash Cat is a community memecoin built around the story that Robinhood almost used that name before launch, running on Robinhood's new Layer-2 chain. With no real product behind it, its price tends to swing hard with social attention, and today's drop follows a period of intense speculative trading.

Risk to know: Pure attention-driven memecoins like this one can lose ground just as fast as they gain it.

4. Why Is Caldera (ERA) Down Today?

Caldera drops 17.0% to $0.09039, with a market cap of $15.812 million. Caldera powers a rollup infrastructure platform for Ethereum, letting developers launch custom Layer-2 chains through its Metalayer system. A recent token unlock event added a large new supply into circulation, and today's decline lines up with that added selling pressure.

Risk to know: Token unlock events often weigh on price for days afterward as new supply gets absorbed by the market.

5. Why Is UP Down Today?

UP falls 13.5% to $0.1158, with a market cap of $57.904 million. As a smaller-cap token, UP tends to see outsized swings on relatively light trading volume, and today's move looks tied to that same low-liquidity pattern rather than any single major headline.

Today's split between sharp gainers and even sharper losers shows a crypto market today driven by individual project news, not one single trend. DeXe's collapse from its own all-time high is the clearest reminder that fast, parabolic rallies often come with an equally fast reversal.
Watch whether Bitcoin holds its current range near $64,000, since a calm bitcoin news today backdrop tends to give altcoins more room to swing wildly in both directions. As always, treat today's top trending cryptocurrency today list as a snapshot, not a signal to chase.
