Three very different launches are lining up this week, and they couldn't come from more different corners of the market. One is a regulated exchange finally bringing its token to market after years of building. Another is a fresh money market protocol pulling in backers tied to major institutional names. The third comes from one of the most recognizable builders in crypto infrastructure, running an auction rather than a typical sale. Here's a full breakdown of all three upcoming crypto launches, what each project actually does, and what their tokenomics look like.

GRVT is a self-custodial derivatives exchange built on Matter Labs' Elastic Chain, running on ZKsync's Validium technology. It blends off-chain order matching with on-chain settlement, aiming to give users a centralized-exchange-like trading experience while keeping custody of funds in their own hands. GRVT holds a Class Modified (M) Digital Asset Business License from the Bermuda Monetary Authority, making it one of the first exchanges of its kind to operate under a formal regulatory license rather than in an unregulated gray zone.
The project has been building toward its Token Generation Event for over a year, running a multi-season community rewards program based on trading activity, liquidity provision, and referrals. Ahead of TGE, GRVT raised its community airdrop allocation from 22% to 28% of total supply, adding an extra 6% specifically to Season 2 participants. The TGE lands around July 21, with $33.3 million raised in prior funding and roughly $36.4 billion in 30-day trading volume behind the platform heading into launch.

TownSquare: Institutional Yield Infrastructure Landing on Monad

TownSquare is a decentralized money market protocol built on the Monad blockchain, designed to let users lend and borrow while integrating stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets for more stable yield opportunities. Rather than positioning itself as just another lending app, TownSquare is building crosschain brokerage infrastructure aimed at institutional users looking for yield on stablecoins and RWAs specifically.
The project closed a $16.25 million pre-Series A funding round backed by a notably institutional list of investors, including World Liberty Financial, Amber Group, Animoca Brands, OKX Ventures, and Aptos. That capital is being used to build out a USD1 stablecoin integration and expand real-world asset tokenization on the platform. The public token sale runs July 20 through July 26 on Monad, priced between $0.015 and $0.02 per token, covering 0.67% of total supply. Commitments range from $100 to $100,000 per participant, and tokens purchased come with a 6-month lock before becoming freely tradable.

GNOT: A Cosmos Founder's New Smart Contract Platform

Gno.land is a smart contract platform from NewTendermint, led by Jae Kwon, the engineer who invented Tendermint consensus and co-founded Cosmos. It uses Gno, a Go-based smart contract language, to tap into Go's large developer base. GNOT is the gas token, paying for every computation run on the network.
Unlike GRVT and TownSquare, Gno.land is raising funds through an auction, not a fixed-price sale. Registration opened via Sonar on July 9, with bidding running July 20-27. The project has raised $40.3 million so far, offering 2.9% of total supply starting at $0.0645, an $86 million FDV. Price rises if demand at a higher bracket exceeds supply, and only bids at or above the final clearing price get filled.

Market Impact

These three launches touch genuinely different parts of the market, so they're unlikely to compete with each other for the same buyer's attention. GRVT's TGE is the most anticipated of the three, given how long its community program has run and how large its trading volume already is heading into launch, making its airdrop distribution the one most likely to generate immediate secondary market activity. TownSquare's raise stands out for the caliber of its institutional backers, which signals real interest in Monad's ecosystem and in stablecoin-and-RWA-focused DeFi more broadly. Gno.land's auction format is the most unusual of the three, and its clearing-price mechanism means the final price participants pay depends entirely on how demand plays out during the bidding window itself, not a price fixed in advance.

Conclusion

This week brings three upcoming crypto launches with very little overlap in structure or audience: a regulated derivatives exchange finally distributing its long-awaited token, an institutionally backed DeFi protocol running a fixed-price sale on Monad, and a Cosmos-pedigree smart contract platform raising funds through a live auction. Anyone watching this space should pay attention not just to the dollar figures involved but also to how each token's specific mechanism, airdrop, fixed sale, or auction shapes what happens to price once trading actually opens.
