The cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has introduced a comprehensive RLUSD promotional initiative that merges daily holding incentives, discounted transaction costs, and a competitive trading event worth 50,000 RLUSD. This program extends through August 19, 2026, and serves qualified platform participants. The exchange seeks to boost RLUSD engagement by incentivizing holdings and minimizing trading expenses throughout the promotional timeframe.

Daily rewards structure introduced for RLUSD holders on Bybit

Bybit unveiled its RLUSD Hold & Earn initiative designed to motivate qualified participants to maintain RLUSD holdings within their platform accounts. Participation requires completion of Identity Verification Level 1 alongside maintaining a minimum one RLUSD balance. The program operates without mandatory staking requirements or lockup constraints for daily reward eligibility.

Reward computation employs the minimum RLUSD balance detected throughout 24 hourly balance checks performed daily. This methodology tracks sustained daily holdings rather than temporary peak amounts. The daily compensation formula multiplies effective daily holdings by the applicable daily APR, then divides by 365.

The platform implements a loyalty multiplier system that enhances qualification for subsequent campaign benefits through sustained holding behavior. Nonetheless, the holding duration resets to zero the moment any participant’s RLUSD balance depletes completely. Bybit caps qualifying balances at five million RLUSD per individual participant.

Trading fee reductions and competitive prize pool accompanies campaign

Concurrent with the holding initiative, Bybit decreased transaction expenses for the RLUSDUSDT spot trading pair throughout the promotional window. The platform eliminated maker fees entirely from 0.10% down to zero. Taker fees experienced reduction from 0.10% to 0.04%.

A concurrent trading competition offers a combined prize distribution totaling 50,000 RLUSD. Qualified participants can enter through RLUSD spot market trading activity during the campaign timeframe. Institutional account holders face exclusion from competition participation despite maintaining eligibility for Hold & Earn benefits.

The platform distributes daily RLUSD rewards into participants’ Main Account Funding Wallets approximately at 06:00 UTC. Rewards accumulated within subaccounts transfer to the primary account before final distribution. Bybit clarifies these rewards function as promotional incentives rather than interest payments or investment yields.

Ripple’s stablecoin gains traction as exchange strengthens support

RLUSD represents Ripple’s fully-backed U.S. dollar stablecoin functioning across the XRP Ledger, Ethereum, and various blockchain ecosystems. The digital asset maintains complete collateralization through segregated reserve holdings of cash and cash-equivalent instruments. Users possess redemption rights for RLUSD at a one-to-one ratio with U.S. dollars.

Throughout 2026, RLUSD has experienced significant expansion, achieving a market capitalization surpassing $1.5 billion. Beyond supply growth, the stablecoin has established partnerships with cryptocurrency trading platforms, banking institutions, and financial service providers. This widening adoption has reinforced its position throughout regulated digital asset ecosystems.

Bybit limited campaign participation to eligible users on its international platform while excluding service-restricted territories and Islamic account types. Furthermore, borrowed RLUSD quantities and balances held in certain designated products remain ineligible for reward computations. The initiative combines holding benefits, discounted trading costs, and competitive incentives to amplify RLUSD engagement while advancing broader stablecoin utilization.
