Despite the series of transactions, Tarbert remains a significant shareholder. The latest filings indicate he still owns roughly 503,000 CRCL shares, maintaining a sizable stake in Circle.
The records also show no disclosed open-market purchases during the reporting period. Insider sales can occur for a variety of reasons, including tax planning, diversification, or the exercise of vested stock options, and are not always a sign of declining confidence in the business.

Tarbert previously addressed concerns about CRCL’s share price, which declined from around $260 to approximately $62, during an interview with FOX Business.
He emphasized that Circle remains focused on its long-term strategy rather than short-term stock movements. According to Tarbert, if the company succeeds in building financial infrastructure for the internet, long-term value creation should ultimately be reflected in the stock price.
As investors continue tracking insider activity, Circle’s future performance will likely depend on its ability to expand its payments, stablecoin, and digital financial infrastructure business while navigating an evolving regulatory landscape.
