Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, received two industry awards at the Peru Blockchain Conference 2026, reinforcing its growing leadership in Latin America's digital asset ecosystem.
Bybit was honored with the Excellence in Innovation for Trading & Web3 Ecosystems award and Best Strategic Leadership for Latin America, recognizing the company's continued investment in product innovation, user experience, and its contribution to advancing the region's digital asset industry.
Designed to bridge crypto with everyday finance, the Bybit Card offers 100% cashback on eligible subscription services such as Netflix and Spotify, alongside a limited-time 10% cashback on eligible purchases during the first month after activation.
"These awards reflect our commitment to turning innovation into real-world value for our users," said Patricio Mesri, Country Manager for Spanish-speaking Latin America at Bybit. "Financial freedom should be more than a marketing slogan—it should be a tangible benefit people experience every day. While traditional financial services often remain constrained by national borders, Bybit is building a global financial ecosystem that gives people greater access, flexibility, and control over how they save, spend, and grow their wealth."
Patricio also joined a featured panel discussion to explore the future of Peru's crypto ecosystem and the outlook for digital asset adoption across Latin America. During the discussion, he emphasized that the future of crypto will be driven not only by investment opportunities, but by practical financial utility that delivers greater freedom and accessibility for everyday users.
Bybit demonstrated how its integrated ecosystem supports that vision by enabling users to make international payments, spend digital assets through the Bybit Card, access multiple payment methods, earn on their digital assets, participate in global market opportunities all within a single platform.
The panel also highlighted education as a key driver of long-term crypto adoption across Latin America. "Education and trust are essential to long-term adoption," Patricio added. "When people understand how digital assets work and have access to secure, intuitive products, they gain the confidence to participate in the global economy. We're committed to working with local communities and industry partners to expand financial inclusion and unlock new opportunities across Latin America."
