<p><em>The second time CMC is featuring Teneo. The first was Teneo Beacon. This time there are two stories that belong together: everything that you have earned so far will be converted to a new reward called $AGENTIC that will be on the blockchain in your wallet, and a network that is already live and working through a clear 2026 roadmap.</em></p><h2 id="strong-a-quick-catch-up-strong"><strong>A quick catch-up</strong></h2><p>The last time CMC featured Teneo, CMC looked at Teneo Beacon: an app you install on a device you already own. It quietly runs a node and shares a small slice of your unused internet bandwidth, and in return you earn rewards. That feature explained what to install. This one explains what running it actually earns you, because Teneo has just announced it. It is called $AGENTIC.</p><h2 id="strong-what-teneo-just-announced-strong"><strong>What Teneo just announced</strong></h2><p>$AGENTIC is a new reward that Teneo is putting directly on the blockchain. Instead of leaving your rewards scattered across different systems, Teneo is rolling them into one and letting you claim it straight to your own crypto wallet.</p><h2 id="strong-what-agentic-actually-is-in-plain-terms-strong"><strong>What $AGENTIC actually is, in plain terms</strong></h2><p>Today, the rewards you earn on Teneo (Points and Fragments) live in different places inside Teneo's systems. $AGENTIC brings them together into a single reward and moves it on-chain.</p><p>A few words worth unpacking, because they matter:</p><ul><li><strong>On-chain</strong> means it is recorded on a public blockchain rather than in a private company database. Anyone can verify it.</li><li><strong>In your wallet</strong> means it belongs to you directly, not to an account Teneo controls.</li><li><strong>Non-transferable</strong> means you cannot sell it or send it to someone else. It is a reward for taking part, not a coin to trade.</li></ul><p>Put it all together and the headline is simple: once you claim $AGENTIC, it is yours, it is verifiable, and no one can reduce it or take it away later.</p><h2 id="strong-why-putting-it-on-chain-is-the-whole-point-strong"><strong>Why putting it on-chain is the whole point</strong></h2><p>Most reward programs work like a loyalty scheme. Your balance is a number in a company's system, and the company can change the rules, lower the number, or shut the program down. You just have to trust them. $AGENTIC flips that. The moment you claim it, the record lives on the blockchain in your wallet, not on a dashboard someone else owns. Nothing you have already earned is lost in the move. This is the part that makes $AGENTIC different from points you have collected anywhere else.</p><h2 id="strong-a-refresher-what-beacon-is-strong"><strong>A refresher: what Beacon is</strong></h2><p>If you missed the first feature, here is the short version. Teneo Beacon is a free app for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. You install it, and it runs a node that contributes a little of your spare bandwidth to Teneo's network. Running it is how you earn the rewards that $AGENTIC now records on-chain. It is the most direct way to take part, which is why it sits at the centre of how $AGENTIC is calculated.</p><h2 id="strong-where-teneo-is-on-its-2026-roadmap-strong"><strong>Where Teneo is on its 2026 roadmap</strong></h2><p>$AGENTIC does not arrive in a vacuum. It lands on a network that is already built and is working through a clear 2026 roadmap. Here is where things stand, in three parts.</p><p><strong>Already built and running. </strong>Teneo is not describing a network it hopes to build one day; it is running one now. The core infrastructure is in production. The original Community Node grew to 6.5M users across 192 countries. There are hundreds of AI agents deployed, and the network has handled more than 1.5M requests. Beacon has launched and recently passed 300,000 nodes. Real agents do real work: Teneo's CoinMarketCap agent has 135K+, with each query paid automatically via x402 in USDC.</p><p><strong>Happening now. </strong>The current focus is turning that network into a working business. Teneo is onboarding business customers who want this kind of live data, building a more powerful version of its developer tool (the Teneo CLI), shipping steady Beacon app updates, and running incentive campaigns for the people who keep nodes online.</p><p><strong>Coming next. </strong>Further out, Teneo is extending what its agents can do: more agent tooling, agents you can use directly from Telegram, and broader integrations across other networks. The Beacon you run to earn it is the same node that feeds the network those business customers and agents rely on. As the network grows, the contribution $AGENTIC records is the contribution that made it possible.</p><h2 id="strong-what-you-need-to-do-to-qualify-strong"><strong>What you need to do to qualify</strong></h2><p>Eligibility is decided at a snapshot, which is simply a cut-off moment when Teneo records who qualifies and for how much. Before that snapshot, do three things:</p><ol><li>Connect a crypto wallet.</li><li>Connect your X account.</li><li>Install Beacon and run it for at least 72 hours (about three days). The longer you run it, the larger your $AGENTIC reward.</li></ol><p>A couple of fair-play rules: VPNs and data-centre connections do not count, and earning is one Beacon per internet connection, up to 20 across separate devices and connections.</p><h3 id="strong-what-agentic-is-not-strong"><strong>What $AGENTIC is not</strong></h3><p>To set expectations clearly: $AGENTIC is not a coin you can buy or trade, Teneo has not attached a dollar value to it, and it does not replace what you have already earned. It is a way to make your contribution permanent and verifiable, recorded on-chain while the network keeps growing.</p><h2 id="strong-how-to-start-strong"><strong>How to start</strong></h2><p>If you already run Beacon, you are most of the way there: keep it running and connect your wallet and X before the snapshot.
