Promising crypto assets continue to strive to maintain bullish momentum as the price of Bitcoin trades above $62,000 and the price of Ethereum trades above $1,700. The latter, specifically, acts as a bold sign for altcoin assets possibly pumping over the next few weeks as Bitcoin Dominance would fall. Altcoin NEAR gains momentum as network upgrades coincide with key technical support test.

The native token of NEAR Protocol draws renewed attention from both developers and market analysts following a major network upgrade and the token's return to a historically significant support zone. While NEAR's recent price action has remained relatively subdued, analysts believe a combination of improving ecosystem fundamentals and favorable long-term chart patterns could position the project for a surge if market conditions improve.

As the post above highlights, one of the biggest recent developments is the rollout of confidential execution across the NEAR ecosystem. The feature, which has now moved beyond its beta phase, is available to all developers building applications on the network. Confidential execution enables sensitive computations to be processed while preserving user privacy, a capability that developers believe could expand blockchain adoption across decentralized finance, enterprise applications, and artificial intelligence use cases.

The launch comes as NEAR's Intents protocol continues to post strong on-chain activity. According to ecosystem data shared by market observers, NEAR Intents processed approximately $2.13 billion in swap volume over the past 30 days. The protocol has also become the network's primary source of application-generated revenue, accounting for roughly 90% of all app-level fees generated on the blockchain.

Analysts say these metrics demonstrate growing utility within the ecosystem, particularly as decentralized applications continue attracting users despite broader cryptocurrency market volatility. Alongside improving fundamentals, traders are closely monitoring NEAR's long-term technical structure, as explained by the expert in the post below.

NEAR has once again returned to a price region that has consistently acted as a major accumulation zone throughout its trading history. This support area has been tested on three separate occasions over the past several years, with each visit followed by a substantial rally. Historical data shows that the first two recoveries from the zone resulted in gains of roughly 1,100% each, while the third rebound produced an advance of approximately 900%.

Those previous performances have prompted speculation that the current retest could eventually lead to another significant upward move if buyers successfully defend support. Market observers caution, however, that historical performance does not guarantee future results. Instead, they view the recurring support level as evidence that long-term investors have consistently accumulated NEAR during periods of market weakness.
