Bitget's stock token product has crossed a significant adoption threshold, with assets under management exceeding $100 million and cumulative trading volume topping $670 million, according to the exchange.

The milestones position Bitget's tokenized equities offering as one of the more actively used products in the exchange's portfolio. AUM, or assets under management, represents the total value of capital currently held within the stock token product, reflecting sustained user commitment rather than momentary trading spikes. For related coverage, see On-Chain Tokenized Stock Trading Volume Hits Record $3.86B in June.

What the $100 Million AUM Figure Represents

The $100 million AUM milestone measures the aggregate value of tokenized stock positions held by users on the platform. Unlike trading volume, which captures transaction flow, AUM signals how much capital remains parked in the product at any given time. For related coverage, see Bitget Web3 Talent Report: 54% of Job Seekers Hit Experience Barrier.

For context, Bitget's tokenized stock offering allows users to gain exposure to equities through blockchain-based tokens. The platform has previously expanded its tokenized equities lineup as part of a broader push into this segment.
Reaching six figures in AUM suggests that users are not simply trading in and out of positions but holding tokenized stock exposure over longer periods. This retention of capital is typically viewed as a stronger adoption signal than volume alone.

Cumulative Trading Volume Passes $670 Million

The $670 million cumulative trading volume figure complements the AUM data by showing the total transaction activity generated since the product's launch. While AUM measures what stays, volume measures what moves.

The distinction matters. High volume with low AUM would suggest speculative churn, where users trade frequently but withdraw quickly. The combination of both metrics growing simultaneously points to a product attracting both active traders and longer-term holders.

Bitget has run promotional campaigns around its stock token products, including a U.S. stock campaign with 200,000 USDT in rewards, which likely contributed to volume growth during specific periods.

Why Both Metrics Together Tell a Stronger Story

Either milestone in isolation would be notable but incomplete. The $100 million AUM figure alone could reflect a small number of large holders. The $670 million volume figure alone could reflect wash trading or short-term speculation.

Together, they suggest a product with both capital depth and transaction activity. The ratio between the two figures indicates that capital has turned over roughly 6.7 times cumulatively, a level consistent with moderate trading activity rather than extreme speculation.

Bitget has positioned its stock token offering alongside broader exchange features, including contract trading competitions and other incentive programs designed to drive platform engagement across multiple product lines.

Tokenized Equities as a Growing Market Theme

The Bitget milestones arrive as tokenized equities attract broader market attention. On-chain tokenized stock trading volume hit a record $3.86 billion in June, suggesting that demand for blockchain-based equity exposure extends well beyond any single platform.

Tokenized stocks allow crypto-native users to access traditional equity markets without leaving the blockchain ecosystem. The model appeals particularly to users in regions where direct access to U.S. equities is limited or cumbersome.

Bitget's growth in this segment signals that centralized exchanges see tokenized equities as a viable product category, not just an experimental feature. Whether these adoption trends continue will depend on regulatory developments and sustained user demand.
