DeXe

The DEXE price is $22.98, up over 35% in the last day. Trading volume shot up more than 180%, putting it among today’s top crypto performers.

When a token jumps like this, most people dig for some hidden reason. But this one is straightforward. Short sellers got squeezed. As the DeXe price climbed, they had to buy back their positions, which pushed it even higher.

Add the bullish technical pattern and fresh interest in DAO tokens, and you get one of the biggest single-day moves we’ve seen from a major altcoin.

Why is DEXE Price Rising?

The biggest driver behind the rally appears to be derivatives market positioning. Data shared by traders showed a funding-rate dislocation of roughly 203% APR between exchanges, pointing to an overcrowded short trade, particularly on platforms such as Bybit. Once the DEXE price started moving higher, liquidations began to cascade through the market.

The numbers back that up. Trading volume topped $136 million in the last day, up more than 211%. That kind of jump usually happens in a short squeeze, when short sellers have to buy back in, they add more gas to the fire. The catch is, these liquidation-fueled runs can fade just as fast once the pressure evens out.

Technicals helped too. The DEXE price broke past several key Fibonacci levels, including the 61.8% retracement around $17.60. Momentum indicators are still bullish, MACD is climbing and RSI is over 70. On top of that, interest in DAO and governance tokens has picked up, which is bringing in more spot buyers.

Falling exchange balances and DEXE’s relatively limited circulating supply amplified the move further. With fewer tokens available for sale, buyers had a greater impact on price, especially as short sellers rushed to cover positions.

What is DEXE Chart Showing?

The chart shared by CryptoTheBossX shows one of the cleanest uptrends among major altcoins. For months, the DEXE price respected the purple ascending trendline, which acted as dynamic support during multiple corrections. Every test of that trendline attracted buyers, preserving the broader bullish structure.

What stands out is the recovery from lower support zones. The DEXE price reclaimed several green support levels before pushing back toward the yellow resistance area around $24.31. That region has capped advances multiple times in the past, making it the key level traders are watching now.

The latest candle briefly pushed into that resistance zone after gaining more than 25% on the week. If DEXE breaks above $24.31, the next big hurdle is around $39.23, that’s the upper yellow line on the chart. As long as the purple trendline and the support zone near $19.54 hold, buyers are still in charge.

Trader Who Lost Millions Warns: “Bitcoin Will Hit $28K, Liquidity Is Dead”

Where Will DEXE Price Go Next?

The big test right now is $24.31. DEXE has already hit that level, and if it closes a daily candle above it, that makes the bull case a lot stronger. If buyers turn that level into support, the next stop is around $30. After that, the bigger resistance zone near $39.23 comes into play.

Momentum indicators are on the bulls’ side, but there is a warning sign. RSI is above 70, which means the market is overbought in the short run. If the short squeeze fades and people start taking profits, a pullback down to the $19.54 support zone would not be a shock.

For now, the trend remains positive. The combination of heavy short liquidations, strong volume, bullish technicals, and renewed demand for governance tokens has placed the DEXE price in a favorable position. The next few sessions will determine whether this move can extend toward $30 and beyond or whether the market needs a cooldown before the next leg higher.

The DEXE price rally was driven primarily by a derivatives-fueled short squeeze supported by strong spot demand and a technical breakout. With resistance at $24.31 now under pressure, traders will be watching closely to see if buyers can clear the level and target the next major upside zones.

The DEXE price is rising mainly because of a large short squeeze that forced bearish traders to buy back positions as the market moved against them. Strong spot demand, a breakout above major resistance levels, rising trading volume, and renewed interest in DAO governance tokens have added further buying pressure.
