Company materials state that Spain’s LALIGA, Italy’s Serie A, and Mexico’s Liga MX have also signed regional partnerships that integrate prediction markets into fan engagement initiatives and broadcasts.</p><p>Polymarket has also <a href="https://www.ufc.com/news/tko-and-polymarket-announce-first-its-kind-sports-partnership" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">secured</a> a multi-year agreement with TKO Group Holdings. The deal names the company as the official and exclusive prediction market partner of UFC and Zuffa Boxing. Polymarket said it obtained access to esports data through an agreement with GRID Esports and launched an integrity monitoring platform called Vergence AI with support from Palantir and TWG AI.&nbsp;</p><p>The company has also integrated its markets into sports-focused platforms including Betr Super App and Splash Sports.</p><p>The latest sports agreements follow Polymarket’s efforts to increase its presence across financial media platforms.</p><p>In November 2025, Polymarket <a href="https://crypto.news/polymarket-to-become-exclusive-partner-yahoo-finance/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announced</a> an exclusive prediction market partnership with Yahoo Finance. The company said the arrangement would bring prediction market probabilities to Yahoo Finance users across political, economic, and event-based topics.</p><p>The announcement came shortly after Google Finance disclosed plans to display probabilities from both Polymarket and Kalshi through natural-language search features.</p><h2 class="wp-block-heading is-style-lead" id="regulatory-and-integrity-questions-remain">Regulatory and integrity questions remain</h2><p>The company’s commercial expansion has coincided with increased regulatory and public scrutiny.</p><p>The Wall Street Journal <a href="https://crypto.news/wall-street-journal-report-claims-polymarket-used-fake-wagers-in-creator-promotions/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">reported</a> on June 22 that Polymarket paid social media creators to promote videos featuring wagers that did not exist on the platform. The newspaper said it reviewed 1,105 videos published between December 2025 and mid-May and found that roughly 70% contained bets that were not available in live markets.</p><p>The Journal reported that Polymarket created replica versions of its website for promotional content and that creators displayed approximately $1.9 million in simulated wagers. Polymarket told the newspaper that it remains committed to maintaining accurate, fair, and transparent markets and would conduct a review of its promotional materials.</p><p>Earlier this month, Politico <a href="https://crypto.news/polymarket-allegedly-paid-influencers-at-least-350000-for-undisclosed-promotions-report/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">reported</a> that Polymarket Chief Marketing Officer Matthew Modabber used a personal PayPal account to compensate creators who promoted the platform on X without identifying the posts as advertisements.</p><p>Legal pressure has also increased. Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman <a href="https://crypto.news/kentucky-tests-cftc-power-with-lawsuit-against-kalshi-polymarket/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">filed</a> lawsuits on June 18 against Polymarket, Kalshi, and related partners, alleging that the companies offered unlicensed sports betting products within the state.
