XTruth airdrop Season 1 just went live, and it puts 5,000,000 XTR into the hands of anyone active on X Layer. The campaign runs through the World Cup window, with no cap on how many people can earn a share.

Here's the simple version. XTruth is an optimistic oracle built on X Layer, OKX's EVM-compatible Layer 2 chain. It exists to verify real-world outcomes on-chain, which matters most for prediction markets that need accurate, trustworthy results.

How to Earn Points in XTruth Airdrop Season 1

Earning points during this airdrop comes down to four simple actions.

Trade — use the platform to make trades

Predict — place predictions on outcomes, like World Cup matches

Build — create or contribute to projects on X Layer

Participate — stay active and show up regularly

Every action routes through OKX Wallet, which keeps the whole process inside one ecosystem and makes tracking points simple.

Three Ways to Join the Points Program

Getting started takes just a couple of steps:

Open the OKX app

Tap the Web3 tab

Find the home banner and follow the prompt

A direct link also works for anyone who wants to skip the steps.
Rewards work on a pro-rata basis. That means each person's share depends on how many points they earn compared to everyone else in the program. No fixed cap exists, so the door stays open for the entire World Cup window.

What Makes the XTruth Oracle System Work

XTruth runs on an optimistic model, a setup similar to other established oracle systems. Users or apps submit a claim along with a bond, paid in XTR.
Here's the simple breakdown of how it functions:

Submit — a user or app submits a claim along with a bond, paid in XTR

Wait — the claim sits in a liveness window, usually around two hours

Settle — if nobody disputes it, the claim settles automatically and the bond returns

Dispute — if someone challenges it, the case moves to a Data Verification Mechanism where XTR stakers vote

When a dispute happens, the losing side loses their bond. That slashed amount goes to the stakers who voted correctly, plus some oracle fees. This setup keeps the system fast and light, while bonds and staking keep it honest.

Why X Layer and the World Cup Timing Matter

X Layer focuses on on-chain financial markets, covering spot trading, perpetuals, and outcome-based markets. It runs on OKB as its gas token, which recently moved to a fixed supply near 21 million after a large token burn.
XTruth serves as core infrastructure for prediction markets on this network. Launching Season 1 during the World Cup gives the platform real activity right away, since sports results are exactly the kind of event this oracle settles.
XTruth also got picked for X Layer Super Nova, a program built to spotlight strong early projects in the ecosystem.

What Comes Next for Points and Token Claims

Points collected now convert into XTR at the Token Generation Event, expected once Season 1 wraps. No major exchange listings exist yet, since the token remains pre-TGE.
With World Cup markets actively settling and a 5,000,000 fixed five-month pool on the table, Season 1 stands out as one of the more accessible entry points into the X Layer ecosystem right now.
