Strategy has started a semi-monthly dividend payment structure for STRC, giving shareholders more frequent payouts while raising attention across the crypto investment sector. According to Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy, STRC investors will now receive dividend payments twice each month instead of the previous monthly schedule. The update introduces a new distribution framework for the preferred stock tied to the company’s shareholder return strategy.
Strategy confirmed that the first record date under the new structure will be June 30, 2026. Shareholders recorded on that date will qualify for the first payout scheduled for July 15. The company also released its updated distribution calendar, showing that the first semi-monthly payment period carries an annualized dividend rate of 11.50%. Eligible shareholders will receive a dividend payment of $0.48 per share.
The announcement places the spotlight on STRC’s growing yield profile as Strategy continues to expand its offerings for investors seeking regular income. Moreover, the move comes as the company maintains its position as the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin.

The new payment schedule arrives alongside a notable increase in STRC’s dividend rate. Company data shows the rate has climbed steadily over recent months, rising from 9.00% in August 2025 to 11.50% in June 2026. That increase occurred during a period marked by fluctuations in the Bitcoin market. However, STRC continued to deliver higher yields, making it increasingly attractive to investors focused on income generation.
Additionally, the semi-monthly structure allows shareholders to access distributions more frequently without reducing the annualized yield. As a result, investors may benefit from improved cash flow while retaining exposure to Strategy’s broader investment model. Market participants have also pointed to the timing of the update. Bitcoin has recently shown signs of recovery, prompting speculation that stronger market conditions could support continued growth in Strategy’s dividend offerings.

The revised schedule has generated interest among both traditional income investors and cryptocurrency market participants. Many view the change as an effort to broaden STRC’s appeal beyond investors focused solely on Bitcoin exposure.
Moreover, the combination of a higher dividend rate and more frequent payments distinguishes STRC from many traditional income-producing investments. Consequently, investors are paying closer attention to the preferred stock as Strategy continues refining its shareholder return strategy.
Strategy’s transition to semi-monthly STRC dividend payments begins with the June 30 record date and the July 15 distribution. According to the company’s published schedule, shareholders will receive twice-monthly payouts while benefiting from an annualized dividend rate of 11.50%.
