BTCC, the world's longest-serving cryptocurrency exchange, is celebrating its 15th anniversary under the theme "Built for the Long Game". Founded in 2011, BTCC has navigated every major crypto market cycle while continuing to serve traders worldwide with secure and professional trading services.
In the cryptocurrency world, fifteen years tells a story that very few platforms ever get to tell. For BTCC, this milestone is not a moment to look back, but a starting point for what comes next: expanding what traders can access, how they trade, and what a platform with this track record can make possible.
The anniversary also marks a meaningful step in BTCC's global brand journey. The exchange has become an official regional partner of the Argentine Football Association, bringing together two names built for champions and defined by resilience and long-term excellence. Argentina's national team, the reigning FIFA World Cup and Copa América champions, carries a legacy built over generations. This spirit reflects BTCC's own path through the highs and lows of the crypto industry.
To celebrate the milestone with its global community, BTCC is launching a World Cup Showdown campaign with a prize pool of over $1.5 million.
From Crypto to Multi-Asset
For an exchange that has weathered fifteen years of market cycles, playing the long game means recognising when the game itself is changing. Global trading markets are converging, and that shift is exactly what BTCC has been building toward. The exchange now offers tokenized perpetual futures and a dedicated TradFi section covering stocks, metals, indices, forex, and commodities. To lower the barriers further, BTCC is also cutting perpetual futures trading fees and introducing zero-fee trading on TradFi futures.
Looking ahead, BTCC will continue expanding into traditional financial trading, not to chase short-term trends, but to build a richer, more engaging trading environment that keeps pace with how traders' needs are evolving.
Stronger Infrastructure, Deeper Liquidity
The long game requires more than the right products. It requires the infrastructure to support them. BTCC is planning a fully rebuilt trading system scheduled for launch by the end of 2026, with the aim of delivering even faster order response times, improved matching efficiency, and stronger risk management under volatile conditions. It will also serve as the technical foundation for future multi-asset products.
At the same time, AI is being integrated across internal operations, covering risk identification, user support, market monitoring, and data analysis. By building smarter workflows internally first, BTCC is laying the groundwork to bring these capabilities to users over time.
Built for the Long Game
Fifteen years is a long time in an industry that has seen countless platforms come and go. While others chase the trends, BTCC keeps asking a harder question: what does a trader actually need to be here for the long haul? BTCC has remained standing through every major market cycle by staying focused on what traders actually need: security, stability, and access to the markets that matter.
As the exchange enters its next chapter, that same focus is driving a broader product lineup, lower trading costs, stronger infrastructure, and deeper liquidity. For BTCC, the long game does not end at fifteen. It is just getting started.
