Bitget Wallet has partnered with Polymarket to offer World Cup prediction markets, combining wallet infrastructure with one of crypto's most prominent event-based trading platforms.
The partnership allows Bitget Wallet users to access prediction markets tied to the World Cup directly through the wallet interface. Polymarket, which operates blockchain-based prediction markets where users trade on real-world event outcomes, has listed 2026 event predictions including sports-related markets.
Bitget Wallet published details of its Polymarket integration, positioning prediction markets as a key feature for its Web3 wallet users. The integration means users can participate in event-driven trading without leaving the Bitget Wallet environment.

What Users Get From the Integration

Prediction markets let participants buy shares representing outcomes of real-world events. In the case of World Cup markets, users can trade on match results, tournament winners, and other event-specific outcomes using crypto.
By embedding Polymarket access within Bitget Wallet, the partnership lowers the friction for users who might otherwise need to connect external wallets or navigate Polymarket independently. Bitget Wallet has published help center resources supporting the feature.
This mirrors a broader trend of wallet providers bundling DeFi and trading functionality into unified interfaces. Similar to how Kalshi recently launched Ethereum perpetual futures for U.S. users, the move reflects growing demand for event-based and derivatives trading within crypto-native platforms.

Why the World Cup Timing Matters

Major global sporting events have historically driven spikes in prediction market activity. The World Cup, as one of the most-watched events worldwide, provides a recognizable entry point for users unfamiliar with crypto prediction markets.
For Polymarket, distribution through a wallet with an existing user base expands reach beyond its core audience. For Bitget Wallet, the integration adds a use case that could drive engagement during the tournament period.
The partnership fits within a broader pattern of crypto platforms seeking mainstream-adjacent products. Coinbase's recent mortgage partnership and the emergence of tokenized deposit networks similarly aim to bring crypto infrastructure closer to everyday financial activity.
Bitget announced the partnership through its official news channel, though specific details on supported markets, launch timelines, and regional availability have not been fully confirmed.
