Opening an XTB account in Britain can pay for itself before you place a single trade. The XTB referral code for UK clients is XTBUK, and entering it at signup is the whole trick: add it on the very first registration screen, satisfy a short list of conditions, and XTB credits a free US share directly into your new account.

The code costs nothing to use, adds no friction to onboarding, and is simply how XTB attributes a fresh UK customer to one of its approved partners.

XTBUK belongs to BrokerPartnerCodes, one of the premium partners XTB Limited has cleared for its UK referral programme. When you register with it, your account is flagged for whatever free stock campaign the code is approved for on that day. Because XTB rotates both the featured share and the promotional window, the live terms always sit on the BrokerPartnerCodes XTB UK page rather than being repeated across articles that may go stale.

What the XTB Referral Code UK Offer Actually Gives You

At the time of writing, registering with XTBUK and clearing the campaign requirements qualifies your account for one free ordinary share in SoFi Technologies (SOFI.US, ISIN US83406F1021), a stock trading in the mid teens in US dollars. Earlier rounds rewarded shares in other US listed companies, since XTB swaps the headline stock each time it refreshes the British promotion. Whatever the featured name, XTB Limited covers the cost of the share, never the customer.

Once the share settles, it is yours with no strings attached. You can hold it, sell it inside the xStation platform, or transfer it to another provider, and there is no minimum holding period attached to the share itself. One practical caution worth repeating: withdrawing your qualifying deposit the instant the share appears tends to trigger XTB's anti abuse review, so leaving the account funded for a short while afterwards is the sensible move.

Eligibility: The Conditions That Usually Apply

XTB's UK welcome offer has kept a fairly consistent shape from one campaign to the next. The standard requirements are that you:

are a UK tax resident, at least 18 years old, and not a US Person under US tax law

have held no live XTB Group account in the previous 365 days and have never claimed an earlier XTB welcome reward

complete identity verification, fund the account, and accept the campaign terms inside the XTB app within 7 days of registering

sign up while the campaign is running and, where a cap applies, fall inside the customer limit set out in the current terms

After you complete the final qualifying step, the share normally lands within 3 business days. The exact deposit figure, dates, and any participant cap move with each campaign, which is precisely why the confirmed rules belong on one maintained page instead of being scattered around.

Entering XTBUK at Signup, Step by Step

The referral field appears only on the first registration screen, and XTB does not let you edit it afterwards, so copy XTBUK to your clipboard before you begin.

On desktop, go to xtb.com/en, select Open Account, enter your email, click Add Code beneath the email box, paste XTBUK, save, then work through the remaining onboarding steps.

On mobile, install the XTB Online Investing App from the App Store or Google Play, choose United Kingdom as your country of residence, type in your email, tap Add Code, paste XTBUK, save, and continue to identity verification.

Is XTB Limited a Safe Place to Hold the Share?

XTB Limited is the British arm of the XTB Group, headquartered in London at One Canada Square in Canary Wharf. It is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 522157. UK client money is held in segregated trust accounts and is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme up to £85,000 per person, per firm, in the event the broker fails. FCA rules also make negative balance protection mandatory for retail clients, so a retail account cannot be pushed below zero.

The wider XTB Group has operated since 2004 and is one of the larger listed retail brokers in Europe, with shares trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange under the ticker XTB and quarterly results published in the open. From the UK, clients can access more than 11,500 instruments, covering CFDs on forex, indices, commodities and shares alongside real equities and ETFs on the Invest side, all through the in house xStation platform on web, desktop and mobile.

Confirm the Live Terms Before You Apply

Since XTB periodically changes the featured share, the deposit required, and the eligibility window, the most reliable read on what XTBUK currently unlocks is the BrokerPartnerCodes XTB UK partner page. BrokerPartnerCodes works to keep the code matched to whatever free stock promotion XTB Limited is running for British clients, though inclusion in any single campaign ultimately rests with the broker. That page reflects the live status of the code and the verified terms as they stand when you read it, so a quick look before you start your application is time well spent.

XTB Referral Code UK: Quick Answers
