Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has introduced its Stocks 2.0 platform, featuring 36 tokenized securities linked to prominent equities and exchange-traded funds. This enhanced offering focuses on improved market depth, transparent asset backing, and optimized capital efficiency within the exchange’s trading infrastructure. The launch reinforces Bitget’s Universal Exchange framework amid rising interest in tokenized traditional financial instruments.

Platform Introduces 36 Digitized Stock and ETF Products

The Stocks 2.0 platform provides traders with token-based exposure to leading international stocks and ETFs. Initial offerings feature digital versions of Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla, Alphabet, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and the QQQ ETF. Availability varies based on geographic restrictions and user qualification criteria.

Bitget structured Stocks 2.0 to bridge tokenized equity trading with traditional stock market liquidity sources. This architecture enables participants to execute trades on stock-linked tokens through enhanced order depth and improved transaction speeds. The exchange seeks to minimize trading barriers within its integrated platform environment.

USDT serves as the base currency for transactions, streamlining market entry and trade settlement processes. Cash distributions convert automatically to USDT and deposit directly into trader accounts. Stock dividends and corporate restructurings adjust token holdings accordingly to preserve accurate market exposure.

Reality Platform Provides 1-to-1 Economic Asset Backing

Reality, a regulated real-world asset tokenization service, issues the securities with operational support from Bitget’s infrastructure. The Stocks 2.0 system employs precise 1-to-1 economic equivalence for qualified stock tokens. Token quantities correspond directly to the economic worth of their associated equity instruments.

The framework accommodates stock splits, consolidations, and various corporate restructurings. Bitget modifies token holdings automatically when issuers alter their capital structures. This mechanism allows participants to maintain proportional exposure without exiting the cryptocurrency trading platform.

According to Bitget, Stocks 2.0 represents an evolution of its previous tokenized equity products, including stock derivatives, ETFs, and pre-IPO instruments. By January 2026, aggregate spot trading volume for tokenized stocks surpassed $1 billion. Additionally, stock futures contracts exceeded $10 billion in total trading activity.

Exchange Integrates Tokenized Securities Across Product Suite

The Stocks 2.0 platform extends tokenized equity functionality throughout Bitget’s comprehensive trading toolkit. Qualified stock tokens operate within unified account structures and collateral frameworks. Furthermore, traders can deploy supported assets in spot grid strategies, futures grid systems, social trading features, and select yield-generating products.

This integration provides multiple methods for capital deployment while maintaining exposure to international equities. It also connects tokenized securities with cryptocurrency-native trading methodologies. Bitget frames Stocks 2.0 as a foundational component of its Universal Exchange vision.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated that tokenized equities create connectivity between digital asset markets and traditional finance. She noted projections suggesting over 10% of worldwide financial assets may undergo tokenization by 2030. Through Stocks 2.0, Bitget advances its commitment to real-world asset tokenization and cross-market access.
