Humanity Protocol's (@Humanityprot) $H token has surged roughly 170% over the past week, with approximately 70% of those gains coming in a single 24-hour window. The move has been sharp by any measure. The token was trading around $0.58 with a 24-hour gain of over 62% and a seven-day advance of more than 156%, according to CoinGecko data. The rally carried $H to its highest price since October 2025.

At its peak, $H climbed to a CoinMarketCap ranking of #42 with a live market cap of roughly $1.77 billion.Trading volume in the last 24 hours reached over $224 million, representing a 43% increase from the prior day.

AI Narrative and Broader Market Excitement Fuel the Move

The rally is part of a broader move across AI-linked tokens, driven by the same artificial intelligence excitement that has lifted equity indices including the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 to record highs.Investor enthusiasm has been stoked by a wave of major AI company IPOs on the horizon. SpaceX, which owns xAI, is planning a $1.78 trillion IPO in June, while OpenAI also intends to go public at a valuation of over $1 trillion.

Other top gainers in the same move included Worldcoin (WLD), Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET), and Venice Token (VVV).The total AI token sector market cap reached approximately $26.6 billion as of late May 2026.

Beyond the broader narrative, Humanity Protocol has its own fundamental story to lean on. The project features a native Proof of Humanity consensus mechanism that verifies users' uniqueness through decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials, combining privacy-preserving human recognition with zero-knowledge proofs. The token has been compared to Worldcoin as a leader in the AI and decentralized identity narrative.

Investors should note that near-term supply dynamics could affect the token's trajectory. A significant token unlock is scheduled for June 25, 2026, where 105 million $H tokens worth approximately $15.29 million will be released.Historical precedents show that large unlock events can lead to front-running and increased selling pressure unless met with proportional new demand.
