On May 27, the DTCC and the Stellar Development Foundation announced plans to <a href="https://timestabloid.com/its-official-dtcc-just-sealed-a-big-deal-with-stellar-xlm-network/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">integrate DTCC’s tokenized securities platform with the Stellar network</a> by the first half of 2027.The scope is significant, as Russell 1000 stocks, ETFs, and U.S. Treasuries will become available on-chain for the first time. XLM surged over 14% on the news. These are complementary functions, and many believe that investors who prefer one over the other are missing the point.The DTCC’s approach reinforces this view.
