BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes made noteworthy comments about HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Sharing his thoughts on social media, Hayes stated that HYPE could reach a new all-time high soon, adding that the token is steadily approaching its target price of $150.
HYPE, which has shown strong performance in the cryptocurrency market, especially in recent weeks, has once again come under the radar of investors. According to the data, the token is currently trading only about 3.5 percent below its previously recorded peak of $59.30. In the last seven days, it has gained approximately 46 percent in value, marking one of the most remarkable increases in the market.
Arthur Hayes’s statements coincided with the growing interest in the Hyperliquid platform. Hyperliquid, operating as a decentralized perpetual trading platform, has seen significant growth in trading volume in recent months, and the HYPE token is directly benefiting from this ecosystem growth. Some market analysts believe that the token’s strong rise is driven by increasing user numbers, platform revenue, and buyback mechanisms.
On the other hand, Hayes’ $150 target indicates a very high potential compared to current levels. This situation brings both optimism and cautious expectations among investors. In a period where volatility remains high in the crypto market, whether HYPE will reach a new peak will be shaped by the overall market direction in the coming days.
Analysts emphasize that Bitcoin’s movements and macroeconomic developments will continue to be decisive factors in the altcoin market.
