Bee Network Opens 100,000 KYC Slots and Eyes 1 Million by Year End

@Beenetworkintl has followed through on a teased "sweet surprise" by unlocking 100,000 KYC verification slots for its $BEE community. The project has also announced plans to scale that figure to 1,000,000 verified users before the end of 2026, a significant step up in pace for a platform that has historically rolled out identity checks in careful, limited waves.

KYC completion is a prerequisite for any future $BEE token distribution. Verification is mandatory for users who wish to withdraw their accumulated earnings once the mainnet officially launches. The broadening of access therefore carries real weight for the project's millions of participants, many of whom have been mining $BEE coins inside the app for years without yet being able to convert those balances into on-chain assets.

Bee Network enters 2026 facing pressure to deliver a token launch, complete KYC, and convert its large user base into real utility. It remains one of the largest mobile-based crypto platforms still operating without a native tradeable token. The acceleration of KYC openings is widely read by the community as a signal that the project is moving toward a Token Generation Event, though no official $BEE token launch date exists as of May 2026.

Alongside the KYC announcement, Bee Network has confirmed the return of its annual Bee Day celebration. Marking six years of Bee Network, the event returns on May 20 with a 400,000 $BEE coin prize pool, 8,000 lucky winners, and a global roster of partners. @coingecko is named as a special co-host, alongside co-hosts including @letsexchange_io and @EchobitExchange.

The involvement of @coingecko as a co-host gives the event notable visibility across the broader crypto community, given the platform's reach as one of the most referenced cryptocurrency data aggregators. For Bee Network, the partnership serves as a further signal of its ambitions to move from a closed mining ecosystem toward a recognised presence in the wider Web3 market.

Taken together, the KYC expansion and Bee Day revival represent the most concentrated burst of activity from @Beenetworkintl in recent months, with the project appearing to build momentum ahead of what could be a pivotal second half of 2026.
