Bybit has announced it will delist SWEAT from its spot trading platform, removing the Sweat Economy token from one of the largest centralized exchanges by volume. Holders with open positions or balances on the exchange will need to act before the delisting takes effect.

What Bybit's SWEAT Delisting Announcement Says

The delisting targets the SWEAT spot trading pair on Bybit. According to the exchange's official announcements page, users should check for specific dates, affected pairs, and withdrawal deadlines tied to the removal.

KEY POINTS

Asset: SWEAT (Sweat Economy)

Action: Spot trading delisting on Bybit

Next step: Check Bybit's announcements page for the exact timeline and withdrawal deadlines

The delisting applies specifically to spot market access. Traders should confirm directly on the Bybit trading platform whether any other product types are affected.

How the Delisting Affects Traders and SWEAT Holders

Once the delisting goes live, users will no longer be able to place buy or sell orders for SWEAT on Bybit's spot order book. Any open limit orders that remain unfilled at the cutoff will typically be canceled automatically by the exchange.

Short-Term vs. Post-Delisting Impact

In the short term, liquidity for SWEAT on Bybit is likely to thin as the delisting date approaches. Wider spreads and increased slippage are common patterns around exchange delistings, making large market orders riskier.

After the delisting takes effect, SWEAT balances may still be held in Bybit wallets temporarily, but trading functionality will be removed. Users who do not withdraw before any posted deadline risk having their tokens converted or locked, depending on Bybit's specific policy for this delisting.

Exchange delistings can also ripple across other venues. In a similar vein, recent activity around token movements, such as the Trump Meme Team wallet transferring 4.915M TRUMP, highlights how exchange and wallet-level actions can shift market dynamics quickly.

What SWEAT Holders Should Do Next

The following steps can help reduce operational risk around the delisting window:

Verify the exact timeline. Log into your Bybit account and check the announcements section for the specific delisting date, last trading time, and withdrawal cutoff.

Cancel open orders. Review any standing limit orders for SWEAT spot pairs. Cancel them manually rather than waiting for automatic cancellation to avoid unexpected partial fills at unfavorable prices.

Decide on custody. If you plan to hold SWEAT long-term, withdraw tokens to a self-custody wallet before the withdrawal deadline. If you plan to sell, identify alternative exchanges that still list SWEAT and transfer there.

Monitor liquidity conditions. Avoid placing large market orders close to the delisting cutoff, as thin order books can lead to significant price impact.

Watch for volatility. Delisting events frequently trigger sharp price swings in both directions. Set risk limits accordingly.

This delisting comes during a period of broader market activity, with institutional flows continuing to shape crypto markets, as seen in Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin Trust drawing $193.6M in inflows. While SWEAT operates in a different market segment, the overall exchange landscape continues to shift as platforms refine their listed assets.

Bybit has not publicly disclosed the specific reasons behind the SWEAT delisting. Exchanges typically remove tokens due to low trading volume, regulatory considerations, or failure to meet ongoing listing requirements. Users should treat the official announcements page as the authoritative source for all deadlines and procedures.
