<a href="https://x.com/Aster_DEX" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">@Aster_DEX</a> has notched a notable milestone with the listing of <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24GENIUS&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$GENIUS</a> perpetual futures, becoming the first decentralized exchange to offer a perp contract on the token. The campaign generated $236 million in total perpetual trading volume, with daily volume peaking at $69 million — a strong signal of trader demand around the debut.
<a href="https://crypto.news/aster-dex-lists-first-genius-perpetuals-as-token-rockets-850/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto.news reported</a> that Aster launched a "Rocket Launch" trading event on April 13, backed by a $200,000 prize pool in <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24ASTER&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$ASTER</a> tokens to incentivise participation in the new <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24GENIUS&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$GENIUS</a> contract market. <cite>The listing coincided with a speculative surge in <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24GENIUS&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$GENIUS</a>, whose market value briefly topped $820 million after an 850% price rally.</cite>
<cite>Binance Alpha also listed <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24GENIUS&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$GENIUS</a> on April 13, 2026, creating a simultaneous launch environment that amplified market volatility.</cite> The dual listings helped funnel significant attention and liquidity toward the token in a compressed timeframe.

Aster's listing of <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24GENIUS&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$GENIUS</a> came with dual reward pools — a structure that distinguishes the platform from typical DEX launches. <cite>The Rocket Launch format splits rewards between <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24ASTER&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$ASTER</a> and partner tokens, using project-funded buybacks to replenish <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24ASTER&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$ASTER</a> incentives, with earlier campaigns also sized at around $200,000 to draw in high-volume perp traders.</cite>
<cite>Genius is a unified on-chain trading terminal with over $15 billion in spot volume, backed by YZi Labs, giving users access to spot, perp, and copy trading across more than 10 blockchains.</cite><cite>For Aster, which has pitched itself as a next-generation DEX combining spot, perpetuals, and tokenised stocks with low fees and deep liquidity, the <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24GENIUS&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$GENIUS</a> partnership is a bid to sit at the centre of the on-chain trading stack.</cite>
<cite>Previous Rocket Launch campaigns have helped push Aster's on-chain holder count above 200,000, demonstrating the format's effectiveness in driving user acquisition.</cite> The <a href="https://x.com/search?q=%24GENIUS&amp;src=cashtag_click" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$GENIUS</a> debut adds to a growing list of high-profile listings that have reinforced Aster's position in the competitive perp DEX market. <cite>Aster has climbed to number two among perp DEXes, with $2.1 billion in daily volume and backing from Changpeng Zhao.</cite>Sources <a href="https://crypto.news/aster-dex-lists-first-genius-perpetuals-as-token-rockets-850/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto.news — Aster DEX lists first GENIUS perpetuals as token rockets 850%</a> <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/26/03/51514798/genius-trading-terminal-partners-with-aster-to-give-users-a-simpler-way-to-trade-perps-on-aster" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Benzinga — Genius Trading Terminal Partners with Aster</a>
