Hyperliquid’s native token HYPE has gained strong market attention after a sustained rally aligned with rising platform activity. The move comes as traders increasingly focus on both technical strength and expanding product offerings across the ecosystem. Consequently, sentiment has shifted toward a more optimistic outlook tied to long-term growth expectations.
HYPE recently climbed to a 60-day high while maintaining a steady upward structure that began forming in early March. The asset continues to record higher highs and higher lows across multiple timeframes, reinforcing confidence among active market participants. Additionally, price has moved above key short-term and midterm moving averages, which supports the continuation of the prevailing trend.
Moreover, the ongoing consolidation near recent highs suggests that buying pressure remains active instead of fading. Traders often interpret this type of movement as a pause within a broader uptrend rather than a sign of exhaustion. Hence, attention has shifted toward identifying catalysts that could drive the next upward move.

Hayes outlook and HIP4 launch fuel $150 projection narrative

According to Arthur Hayes, the introduction of HIP4 could significantly reshape trading activity on Hyperliquid. The feature enables binary options trading on HyperliquidX, expanding the platform’s capabilities beyond standard derivatives products. He noted that such an addition could drive a sharp increase in trading volume as participation grows.
Additionally, Hayes linked this development to a broader valuation outlook, suggesting that HYPE could reach $150 over time. This projection has strengthened bullish sentiment as traders evaluate the platform’s revenue trajectory. Consequently, the narrative around HYPE has shifted toward long-term structural growth.

At the same time, Hyperliquid’s core metrics continue to strengthen alongside its price performance, adding credibility to the bullish case. Total value locked stands near $4.8 billion, reflecting consistent capital participation across the platform. Meanwhile, annualized revenue is approaching $700 million, indicating sustained trading activity.

However, binary options introduce a higher-risk environment due to their fixed outcome structure within defined timeframes. Traders either secure profits or incur complete losses, leaving little room for gradual exposure or hedging. Besides, increased trading frequency may boost revenue while also amplifying volatility and risk. Hyperliquid now positions itself as a high-performance trading hub driven by rapid product expansion and capital efficiency strategies.
