Arthur Hayes, a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency market, has reportedly increased his position by purchasing HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
According to data shared by OnchainLens, Hayes added 20,274 HYPE to his wallet approximately 5 hours ago. The total value of this purchase is reported to be around $603,000.
With this latest transaction, Arthur Hayes’ total HYPE holdings have risen to 189,195. According to on-chain data, the current market value of this amount is approximately $5.79 million.
Hayes’s acquisition attracted attention because it came during a period of continued market volatility. In recent weeks, investors have shown increased interest in derivatives markets, DeFi protocols, and next-generation decentralized exchange (DEX) projects. The HYPE token is among the assets benefiting from this trend.
On the other hand, Arthur Hayes is a name that frequently comes up in the crypto community due to his past comments on market cycles and macroeconomic developments. Therefore, Hayes’ on-chain activities are followed by some investors as an indicator of market sentiment.
Experts remind investors that high-volume wallet activity alone is not sufficient for investment decisions, and that they should pay attention to risk management and market conditions.
