The National Examinations Council (<a href="https://www.neco.gov.ng/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">NECO</a>) has released the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for external candidates.&nbsp;While announcing the results on Tuesday in Minna, Niger state, Ibrahim Wushishi, the NECO registrar, explained that a total of 96,979 candidates registered for the examination, including 51,823 males (53.43%) and 45,156 females (46.56%).The main exercise, which took place nationwide between November 26 and December 13, 2025, saw 95,160 candidates eventually sit for the examination. This includes 50,785 males (53.36%) and 44,375 females (46.63%).The NECO registrar said 68,166 candidates, representing 71.63%,&nbsp; obtained five credits and above, including English language and Mathematics. For this:Go to the official <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">NECO Results portal</a>, and create an account by providing your name, email, and password. Since you don’t have internet access, you can get your tokens from local vendors. These people get the tokens from the portal and sell them.&nbsp;Open your phone’s messaging app and type your NECO details into a single message, without spaces, in the format: NECOExamNoPINExamYear.Then, send the message to the NECO official SMS number, 32327. While it can be disturbing, the errors might be related to one or two of the following.1. Network congestion/Load errorThis can occur when there’s congestion on the result checking portal. You can consider switching to another browser or accessing it on a laptop or from a quality network. If errors persist, try again late in the night or at midnight.2. “Invalid token” This error appears when there’s a mismatch with the PIN. It means you’ve typed the wrong PIN from your token.
