<p>From national restaurant chains to small local shops and even medical practices, merchants say accepting Bitcoin is helping them attract new customers and reduce payment processing costs.</p>
<p>According to a report by FOX5, establishments ranging from <a href="https://hash.media/hashdesk/steak-n-shake-to-pay-hourly-workers-bitcoin-bonuses/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Steak ’n Shake</a> to neighborhood businesses are now allowing customers to pay using Bitcoin.&nbsp;</p>
<p>One such business is Cane Juice Bar and Cafe, located near Rainbow Boulevard and Windmill Parkway. The shop began accepting Bitcoin payments around eight months ago and has already seen tangible benefits.</p>
<p>District manager Tyler Peterson said Bitcoin has helped bring in customers who might not have otherwise discovered the business. “Bitcoin is getting very popular with mainstream people, not just those deeply involved in crypto,” Peterson said. “People call us and come in specifically to ask if we accept Bitcoin. That visibility has helped us grow.”</p>
<p>Peterson added that Bitcoin directories and maps listing crypto-friendly businesses have played a key role in driving foot traffic to the café.</p>
<p>Bitcoin consultant Jeremy Querci of Sovreign noted that adoption is expanding across a wide range of industries in Las Vegas, including medical offices, juice bars, and children’s play centers.&nbsp;</p>
<p>He explained that the payment process is simple, requiring only a smartphone and a Bitcoin wallet app. At checkout, customers scan a QR code displayed by the merchant to complete the transaction.</p>
<p>“It’s going to get easier and easier to use,” Querci said, calling Bitcoin payments a glimpse into the future of commerce.</p>
<p>A major driver behind the trend is Square’s recent move to support Bitcoin payments at scale. In November, the payments company enabled approximately 4 million U.S. merchants to accept Bitcoin with zero processing fees through 2026. This allows businesses to bypass traditional credit card fees, which typically range from 2.5% to 3.5%.</p>
<p>Consumers can locate Bitcoin-accepting businesses through Bitcoin maps or platforms like Cash App, further supporting the growing crypto payment ecosystem.</p>
