<p>I increasingly agree with the point recently voiced by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@intothecryptoverse" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Benjamin Cowen</a>. Interest in cryptocurrency content on YouTube is clearly declining. This is not about individual channels or formats. It is a structural shift across the entire ecosystem.</p><p>If you look at the 30-day view dynamics he shared, it becomes obvious that the decline affects not only YouTube but also X and the broader crypto media space. For me, this is not surprising. I see it both as a consumer of content and as a creator.</p><h2 id="strong-why-i-no-longer-watch-crypto-youtube-strong"><strong>Why I No Longer Watch Crypto YouTube</strong></h2><p>YouTube used to be the primary source of crypto analysis. Long streams. Twenty or thirty-minute market breakdowns. Extended discussions about the future. In 2021, this made sense. The market was rising, and the audience wanted emotion, narratives, and conviction.</p><p>Today, it does not.</p><p>I rarely watch crypto YouTube anymore. Not because the content became worse, but because the format no longer matches how the market is consumed. When you have five or ten minutes between trades, calls, or macro updates, you do not start a forty-minute video. You open the text. Fast. Direct. No filler.</p><p>That is why I increasingly rely on aggregators, financial and political news outlets, and CoinMarketCap. More importantly, today I not only read CoinMarketCap, but also regularly publish my own analysis there. This is a natural continuation of how my information consumption has evolved. First, as a reader. Crypto exchanges are no longer betting on long narratives or promotional storytelling. Instead, they are adapting to short, practical, and data-driven formats.</p><p>Exchanges where I actively trade, such as <a href="https://whitebit.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">WhiteBIT</a>, <a href="https://www.bybit.com/en/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bybit</a>, and <a href="https://www.gate.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Gate.iо</a>, are increasingly integrating concise educational content, short market updates, and fast product explanations into their SMM strategies and other communication channels.</p><p>This is not about marketing creativity. It is about matching how information is actually consumed today. The faster the signal is delivered, the higher its value. Long explanations lose relevance when markets move in minutes.</p><h2 id="strong-short-content-wins-and-the-numbers-prove-it-strong"><strong>Short Content Wins and the Numbers Prove It</strong></h2><p>A few years ago, the average time spent reading an analytical piece could easily reach five minutes or more. Today, the reality is different. The shorter and more precise the message, the higher the chance it will actually be consumed.</p><p>My personal data confirms this very clearly. I can track it directly through the reach of my own materials.- When the text is concise and dense, engagement rises.- When there is too much explanation and filler, attention drops.- This pattern repeats consistently regardless of market conditions.</p><p>The same idea written in two paragraphs instead of six generates significantly more reads. The audience votes with attention, and that signal is impossible to ignore.</p><h4><strong>This Is Not the Death of Interest but a Market Phase Change</strong></h4><p>Many interpret declining views as a loss of interest in crypto itself. I disagree. What we are seeing is the end of an active media phase of the market. Historically, periods of low attention are where the foundation for the next move is built.</p><p>Some investors have temporarily shifted focus toward macroeconomics, precious metals, and yield-generating assets. In 2025, Bitcoin showed negative performance, while gold, palladium, and rhodium performed better. This is a rational response to global uncertainty.</p><p>This does not mean crypto lost relevance. It means the market matured, and the content around it matured as well.</p><h2 id="strong-why-youtube-will-return-but-not-yet-strong"><strong>Why YouTube Will Return but Not Yet</strong></h2><p>When asked whether the audience will return to 2021 levels, Cowen answered clearly. Yes, but not this year. I agree with that assessment.</p><p>YouTube will regain relevance when a strong trend returns and when the market once again demands emotion and large narratives. Until then, those who win are the ones who respect the reader’s time and deliver meaning quickly.</p>
