Kaspa is trading just below $0.05, and short-term charts point to a bullish structure forming. Analysts are watching for a possible retest of the $0.2076 all-time high as momentum slowly rebuilds. With a market cap around $1.27 to $1.29 billion and most 2026 forecasts clustering between $0.06 and $0.10, Kaspa remains a high-beta Proof-of-Work coin with execution risk.
While Kaspa holders wait for a technical breakout, another project is capturing attention at a much faster pace. Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP) has entered the market with $100 million in pre-built infrastructure and a daily auction presale that is pulling capital away from PoW coins and established Layer 1s. For many, it is quickly becoming the best crypto to buy now due to its live systems and accelerating demand.

Kaspa Price Prediction: Where KAS Stands Today

Kaspa’s current price sits in the $0.047 to $0.048 range, with weekly charts showing a bullish engulfing pattern after a brief two-week pullback. Technical traders often view this as a sign that the previous uptrend could resume, opening the door for a move back toward the $0.2076 peak.
Network strength continues to grow. Kaspa runs on the KHeavyHash Proof-of-Work algorithm, with hashrate near 210 EH per second and difficulty around 49P. These elevated levels compared to earlier cycles reflect strong miner participation and improving network security.

Short-term momentum appears steady rather than explosive. Over the past week, KAS recorded roughly three positive days out of seven with near 1% daily volatility. Market sentiment leans about 70% bullish, while the Fear and Greed Index sits at 29, a mix that often precedes gradual recovery phases.

Kaspa Price Targets for 2026

Most forecasts point to measured upside instead of sharp acceleration. Short-term models project a slow climb from about $0.0487 on January 12 to near $0.0563 by late January, representing around 17% upside if conditions hold.
Looking deeper into 2026, technical projections place KAS in a $0.067 to $0.1516 range, with an average near $0.104. This implies potential gains between 40% and 200% depending on market conditions. More cautious models suggest an average near $0.048 with a wide band from $0.027 to $0.065, highlighting how sensitive outcomes remain to adoption and macro liquidity.

Longer-range projections extending beyond 2030 estimate Kaspa around $0.12 to $0.13 by 2031. That reflects steady growth but not the kind of rapid repricing seen in earlier breakout cycles.

What Could Push Kaspa Higher

Several factors could support a move higher for Kaspa. A confirmed breakout could drive the price back toward the $0.2076 all-time high if broader markets cooperate. Continued hashrate growth may further strengthen confidence in the network’s durability.
Expanded ecosystem development, especially DeFi integrations, could also broaden use cases beyond pure Proof-of-Work security. A shift toward risk-on conditions across crypto would likely benefit KAS as well, though the absence of ETF exposure limits some demand channels.

Why Zero Knowledge Proof Is Drawing Attention Away From Kaspa

While Kaspa works through a steady technical recovery, Zero Knowledge Proof is moving through a very different phase of the market cycle. ZKP launched only after committing more than $100 million to infrastructure, hardware, and network development, a move that immediately set it apart from most presales. This funding covered over $20 million in core blockchain architecture, $17 million for Proof Pods and global logistics, and $5 million to secure the ZKP.com domain. As a result, the presale is not funding a build. It is activating a system that already exists.
At the center of ZKP’s momentum is its daily Initial Coin Auction. Every 24 hours, exactly 200 million coins are released through a proportional, on-chain process. The price is not fixed in advance. It is discovered based on total participation, then permanently locked once the window closes. There are no resets, no private rounds, and no alternative entry points. As participation grows, earlier pricing becomes mathematically unreachable, which is why urgency continues to build without relying on promotion.
Utility is already live. Proof Pods priced at $249 are shipping globally and earning ZKP coins by performing verified AI computation. Rewards are tied to real work rather than idle holding, and payouts reference the previous day’s auction price. The testnet is operational with a working explorer, faucet, and support for both EVM and WASM environments. A partnership with the Dolphins further signals active enterprise interest.

With analysts projecting up to 600x scenarios based on auction mechanics and delivered infrastructure, ZKP is increasingly viewed as the best crypto to buy now for those prioritizing timing, visibility, and verifiable progress over slower technical setups.

Final Thoughts

Kaspa’s 2026 outlook remains constructive, with a base case in the $0.06 to $0.10 range and the possibility of revisiting $0.20 if momentum returns. It represents a steady technical play within the Proof-of-Work space.
Zero Knowledge Proof offers a very different setup. With working infrastructure, a live daily auction, and demand accelerating by design, it presents a time-sensitive opportunity that many now see as the best crypto to buy now. One path relies on gradual appreciation. The other runs on a daily countdown that resets positioning forever.
