Crypto.com has joined forces with ERShares and Signal Markets to create a new platform that merges prediction markets with broader financial intelligence. Announced December 15, this collaboration aims to deliver tools for users to analyze economic trends and market expectations in real time.
The initiative builds on Crypto.com's existing strengths in digital finance, including its registered exchange for prediction contracts.

The platform, developed through Crypto.com's Derivatives North America affiliate, which holds CFTC registration as an exchange and clearinghouse, will integrate data from macroeconomic indicators, financial markets, and corporate performance. Users can expect probabilistic models covering areas such as interest rates, inflation, employment figures, equities, commodities, digital assets, and earnings reports. Instead of limiting focus to single events, the system offers ongoing updates on how collective market views respond to policy changes, economic releases, and business results.
Crypto.com contributes its vast user base and infrastructure for secure trading, payments, and custody. ERShares handles data integration, research methodologies, podcast content, and media outreach, drawing from its experience in managing ETFs and indexes centered on innovative companies. Signal Markets supplies the core technology for probability modeling, data structures, and forecasting, specializing in turning market uncertainties into actionable insights.

"This collaboration reflects our belief that the future of financial platforms lies in combining access with intelligence," said Travis McGhee, Global Head of Predictions at Crypto.com.

By partnering with these firms, Crypto.com extends its prediction market offerings beyond basic transactions, providing users with deeper understanding of trends and risks.
All aspects of the project will adhere to regulatory standards, with more details on launch timelines, features, and integrations expected soon.

What Does the Platform Offer Users?

Investors and traders stand to gain from a unified view that connects disparate data points. For instance, the platform could show how inflation expectations influence equity prices or how employment data affects commodity forecasts. This approach helps users move from reactive analysis to forward-looking strategies based on market probabilities.
Joel Shulman, Founder and CIO of ERShares and a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Babson College, explained the value: "Crypto.com has built one of the most powerful global platforms in digital finance. By combining that scale and technology with our investment framework and Signal Markets' analytical engine, we are creating a new way for investors to understand markets through expectations rather than hindsight."
Such tools could prove useful for portfolio managers tracking cross-asset correlations or individual users exploring economic scenarios. Crypto.com's recent expansions, including partnerships with entities like Fanatics for sports-focused markets and Hollywood.com for entertainment predictions, suggest this intelligence platform fits into a broader ecosystem of event-based trading.

Insights into the Partners

ERShares, founded by Joel Shulman, emphasizes long-term strategies tied to entrepreneurial companies. The firm oversees exchange-traded funds, custom indexes, and research tools, often incorporating global innovation themes. It also produces podcasts and media on markets and entrepreneurship, which will support the new platform's educational components.
Signal Markets focuses on fintech solutions for predictive analytics, designing systems that structure complex data into reliable forecasts. Together, these partners complement Crypto.com's reach, enabling a service that bridges traditional finance with digital assets.
Eva Ados, Chief Investment Strategist and COO of ERShares, highlighted the need: "As market complexity increases, investors need clearer signals, not more noise. This platform is designed to connect macroeconomic trends, asset prices, and corporate performance into one practical view of global markets."

How Does the Collaboration Impact Prediction Markets?

This launch arrives amid growing interest in prediction markets, where platforms allow trading on outcomes of real-world events. In 2025, trading volumes have surged, with monthly figures reaching around $10 billion and annual totals exceeding $28 billion across major sites. New entrants, such as on-chain options like Probable on the BNB network, and investments from firms like Intercontinental Exchange into Polymarket, underscore the sector's expansion.
These developments enhance liquidity and accuracy in forecasting, as aggregated trader bets often outperform traditional polls or expert opinions.
For the ecosystem, they foster more informed decision-making, potentially influencing how financial institutions incorporate crowd-sourced intelligence into strategies. Crypto.com's move positions it to capitalize on this trend, offering users integrated tools that could shape future interactions with markets.
