Elites and Networks Shape CAR's Crypto Venture
The Central African Republic's recent cryptocurrency initiatives highlight involvement of elites and criminal networks. Led by President Faustin-Archange Touadéra since 2016, the initiatives include the $CAR meme coin, launched despite infrastructural challenges and political instability.
