NPRO

$NPRO is officially going live—unlocking a new chapter for NEAR Mobile Wallet and the NEAR ecosystem. After months of community participation through campaigns, referral initiatives, and the pre-staking program, users will finally be able to claim their tokens and trade $NPRO on-chain.
This article walks you through everything happening at launch: claims, premium tiers, liquidity, trading, staking mechanics, the buyback algorithm, and transparency commitments.
<h2 id="claiming-your-npro-available-december-15th">Claiming Your $NPRO: Available December 15th</h2>
All rewards from the Rhea Finance campaign, Referral campaign, and the Pre-Staking campaign will be claimable directly inside the NEAR Mobile app, under the new $NPRO tab.
<ul>
 <li>Claims open on December 15th.</li>
 <li>Claiming is simple: open NEAR Mobile, head to the $NPRO tab, and press “Claim rewards”—your $NPRO will be claimed straight to your wallet.</li>
</ul>
Please note you'll need to have some NEAR on your wallet in order to claim your NPRO on chain.

This marks the moment when tens of thousands of early supporters finally receive their $NPRO and enter the live ecosystem.
<h2 id="unlocking-wallet-tiers-with-npro-ambassador-and-premium">Unlocking Wallet Tiers With $NPRO: Ambassador and Premium</h2>
$NPRO is not only a reward token—it also unlocks advanced features within NEAR Mobile. Two enhanced membership tiers will launch alongside the token:
🔹 Ambassador Tier — 75 $NPRO
🔹 Premium Tier — 250 $NPRO
These tiers unlock powerful tools designed for active users, including:
<ul>
 <li>Discounted swap fees and fee-free staking</li>
 <li>Portfolio analytics and tracking</li>
 <li>Advanced price and portfolio notifications</li>
 <li>Multiple address management</li>
 <li>Exclusive themes and custom app icons</li>
 <li>Priority support</li>
 <li>Additional premium features released progressively</li>
</ul>
Tokens aren’t spent — they’re simply locked.
<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/cb67da6cffb945eeb5eb66113cfd5773.png">
To unlock a tier, users only need to hold and lock the required amount of $NPRO inside the app.
Your tokens remain yours at all times and can be unlocked later if you decide to downgrade or exit the tier.
This creates a strong incentive to hold $NPRO—especially early on when tier requirements are low and token scarcity increases over time.
<h2 id="where-npro-will-be-listed">Where $NPRO Will Be Listed</h2>
At launch, $NPRO will be tradable in two ways:
<h3 id="1-liquidity-pool-on-rhea-finance-npro-near">1. Liquidity Pool on Rhea Finance (NPRO/NEAR)</h3>
The first trading venue for $NPRO will be a dedicated liquidity pool on Rhea Finance.
This pool will receive:
<ul>
 <li>the initial liquidity allocation established in the tokenomics, and</li>
 <li>additional liquidity progressively added through the buyback mechanism.</li>
</ul>
<h3 id="2-global-trading-through-near-intents">2. Global Trading Through NEAR Intents</h3>
$NPRO will also be available through NEAR Intents, enabling users to swap any token for $NPRO—even if their assets are on other chains. This provides immediate access to $NPRO across the entire NEAR ecosystem.
<h2 id="liquidity-deployment-and-the-pre-staking-boost">Liquidity Deployment and the Pre-Staking Boost</h2>
During the pre-staking period, the community staked NEAR with the NEAR Mobile validator to earn $NPRO once the token launched. Thanks to that participation, the validator has accumulated nearly 30,000 NEAR, which now becomes a crucial engine for the launch.
How It Works
Over the first 2 weeks after launch, this NEAR will be progressively used to buy $NPRO from the liquidity pool. This creates a powerful dynamic:
<ul>
 <li>Strong buy pressure: All 30k NEAR becomes pure demand for $NPRO, applied gradually to support a healthier price trajectory.</li>
 <li>Early holder advantage: With sustained buy-side activity in the first days, campaign and pre-staking participants have clear incentives to hold rather than sell early.</li>
 <li>Compounding effects: At the same time, from December 15th onward, the protocol will continuously buy back $NPRO and add liquidity using validator rewards.</li>
</ul>
Together, these mechanisms create an asymmetric launch and long-term dynamic: The protocol is structurally a net buyer of $NPRO funded by staking rewards, never a seller, which structurally favors early and long-term holders over time.
<h2 id="staking-from-december-15th-onward">Staking From December 15th Onward</h2>
Starting on December 15th, ongoing staking becomes available. Here is how it works:
<ul>
 <li>Users stake NEAR with the NEAR Mobile validator.</li>
 <li>Every epoch (approximately three times per day), they automatically receive $NPRO.</li>
 <li>Rewards become immediately available to claim in the wallet.</li>
</ul>
This mechanism distributes 60% of $NPRO’s supply over five years, ensuring fairness and sustainability.
Key Characteristics
<ul>
 <li>Epoch-by-epoch rewards throughout the day</li>
 <li>Emissions decrease progressively following the bonding curve</li>
 <li>Rewards scale with each user's share of total NEAR staked</li>
 <li>Users retain their NEAR—only the staking rewards are received in $NPRO</li>
</ul>
This staking model acts as the long-term economic engine of the ecosystem.
<h2 id="the-buyback-algorithm-sustained-price-support-and-growing-liquidity">The Buyback Algorithm: Sustained Price Support and Growing Liquidity</h2>
One of $NPRO’s defining features is its automated buyback and liquidity algorithm.
Three times per day (every epoch):
<ol>
 <li>The validator accumulates NEAR staking rewards.</li>
 <li>Those rewards are used to buy $NPRO from the liquidity pool.</li>
 <li>Depending on liquidity depth: If liquidity is near the 10% target → 100% of rewards buy $NPRO If liquidity is below the target → 50% buys $NPRO + 50% adds liquidity</li>
 <li>Any liquidity added is permanent, as LP tokens are burned.</li>
</ol>
<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/9b5687b1ab274f9bb9cc702e809caaa8.png">
Why It Matters
<ul>
 <li>The protocol becomes a continuous buyer of $NPRO</li>
 <li>Buy pressure grows as staking participation increases</li>
 <li>Liquidity deepens automatically, reducing slippage and increasing resilience</li>
 <li>Rising NEAR prices amplify buyback power</li>
</ul>
This creates a self-reinforcing cycle: sustained demand, stronger liquidity, and consistent price support.
<h2 id="transparency-everything-is-on-chain">Transparency: Everything Is On-Chain</h2>
$NPRO is a fully transparent, on-chain launch. A total of 10 million $NPRO have been created—no additional $NPRO will ever be minted. The entire supply has already been allocated to dedicated DAOs according to the tokenomics described in the whitepaper .
