Web 3 Development

As the Dubai Binance Blockchain Week (BBW) captures the attention of the global Web3 industry, a series of in-depth industry exchange activities have unfolded alongside the main event. On December 4, the "KOL GOLF After Party," jointly hosted by Klickl, Techub News, and 1783DAO, and co-organized by BroadChain, WIS (World in Shadow), JDI, and the DID Alliance, was successfully held in Dubai.
The event brought together hundreds of guests, including representatives from global investment institutions, industry veterans, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), aiming to establish an efficient and private dialogue platform to discuss development trends and cooperation opportunities in the digital economy.

As a significant Side Event during BBW, this gathering utilized high-end indoor golf as a social medium, but its core purpose was to provide industry leaders with a private venue away from the bustle of the exhibition to focus on the exchange of ideas.
In a relaxed atmosphere, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on core issues facing the Web3 industry today, including the application of Decentralized Identity (DID) in compliant finance, the path for Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization, and the evolution of infrastructure. This form of deep socialization not only brought industry builders closer together but also facilitated the achievement of multiple strategic cooperation intentions.

Strategic Roadshow: DID Alliance Builds Web3 Digital Sovereign Infrastructure

As one of the core organizers of this event, Eugene Xiao, Chair of the DID Alliance, delivered a keynote speech titled "Connecting the Global: From Digital Sovereignty to Business Empowerment," presenting the Alliance's vision and ecosystem layout to the global elites in attendance.
Eugene first elaborated on the core mission of the DID Alliance. He pointed out that as the Web3 industry penetrates the mainstream world, traditional centralized identity systems can no longer meet the growing demands for privacy protection, data sovereignty, and cross-chain interoperability.
"DID (Decentralized Identity) is not just a technical standard; it is the trust cornerstone of the future digital economy," Eugene emphasized. He stated that the DID Alliance is dedicated to building a decentralized, cross-sovereign, and compliant digital identity infrastructure. By returning ownership of identity to users, DID technology can effectively solve the "trust deficit" in the development of the digital economy, providing a secure and credible underlying support for application scenarios such as DeFi, SocialFi, and RWA.

After introducing the technological foundation, Eugene promoted a heavyweight ecosystem sector recently officially launched in Kuala Lumpur—the Asia Pacific Innovation Center (APIC)—to partners in the Middle East and globally.
In his speech, Eugene redefined the strategic role of APIC: "APIC is not merely a physical space; it is the bridge connecting the DID ecosystem's physical commerce with the Web3 world. It is our business accelerator and capital connector for global enterprises."
He detailed the three core functions of APIC as an "independent platform for business, finance, and trade empowerment":

Web3 Innovation Incubation: Serving as a global expansion base for frontier projects, leveraging DID technical advantages to provide full-chain support for startups, from technical solutions and compliance consulting to market implementation.

Transformation of Traditional Commerce: Building a bridge between Web2 and Web3 to assist traditional enterprises in utilizing blockchain technology for digital upgrades, achieving asset tokenization and business model innovation.

Global Education and Overseas Empowerment: Relying on cooperative resources with top institutions such as MIT and UCLA Anderson School of Management, and leveraging Kuala Lumpur's geographical advantage as a Southeast Asian hub, APIC helps enterprises connect to markets in China, the US, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, cultivating composite talents with a global perspective.

Eugene pointed out that although APIC is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, its vision is global. This trip to Dubai aims to extend APIC's empowerment network to the Middle East, a vibrant capital center, promoting deep docking of Eastern and Western resources and building a more open and inclusive global business ecosystem.

This Dubai exchange is a crucial part of the DID Alliance's global strategy. Through joint actions with partners like Klickl, Techub News, and 1783DAO, DID has demonstrated its ecological connectivity capabilities within the industry.
As DID technology matures and the strategic functions of the Asia Pacific Innovation Center (APIC) are gradually released, a globalized empowerment ecosystem covering underlying technology, capital operation, education and training, and commercial implementation is accelerating its formation. From the launch in Kuala Lumpur to the debut in Dubai, the DID Alliance is steadily advancing its global layout, dedicated to linking global value and reshaping the new order of digital commerce.
