SERA, TON Foundation, and Blue Origin have initiated a global, on-chain citizen astronaut selection for a New Shepard mission, utilizing the Mission Control app through TON Blockchain.
The initiative democratizes space access, leveraging TON Blockchain for voting, potentially impacting TON's market position and promoting decentralized space exploration.
The Space Exploration and Research Agency (<a href="https://www.sera.space" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SERA</a>), in collaboration with the TON Foundation (<a href="https://phemex.com/news/article/telegrams-decentralized-network-cocoon-launches-with-ai-capabilities-40908" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">TON Foundation</a>) and Blue Origin, has launched an on-chain initiative to select astronauts. This effort uses a Telegram app to engage users worldwide in the selection process.
Participants register and <a href="https://phemex.com/earn-crypto" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">earn points</a> via the Mission Control app on TON blockchain. They vote to choose six citizens for a Blue Origin mission. The move aims to democratize space access and integrate blockchain technology in astronaut selection.
