The Trust Wallet team is not the type to just release a crypto app and sit back. Since its creation, this self-custody wallet has been multiplying integrations with a clear obsession: to have everything at the user’s fingertips. The latest? A foray into the world of prediction markets. Without changing the interface or opening a new app, it is now possible to bet on the news from your crypto wallet. And this is just the beginning.

Users can bet directly within the wallet on politics, sports, crypto, and global news.

Everything is on-chain and self-custodial, no registration or additional fund transfers required.

Future integration of Kalshi and Polymarket promises massive expansion of prediction types available.

Trust Wallet no longer just secures assets after announcing the tokenized contracts on Solana. It establishes itself as the extension of a thought process, the continuation of a conviction. Thanks to the “Predictions” tab, available in the Swaps section, the user can now bet on scenarios like an election, a halving, or a sports victory. All in self-custody.

This shift follows a logic begun with the integration of tokenized stocks (via Ondo Finance). A convergence: that of financial, informational, and speculative uses.

As Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet, summarizes:

Wallets are becoming the home for all kinds of trading — not just tokens, but also information, opinions, and expectations. Users shouldn’t need five apps to express a market opinion. It should happen in the same place they already hold and trade.

With Predictions, the crypto wallet becomes a mental arena. We no longer just store tokens: we express an opinion — quantified, tradable, traceable.

Crypto Invests in the News: Betting Becomes an Act of Analysis

Behind this new feature are three key players: Myriad, Polymarket and Kalshi. For now, only Myriad, on BNB Chain, is active. It has already recorded $100 million in volume since March 2025. The other two platforms will be integrated very soon.

Users can now bet on the outcome of major events: political results, economic developments, sports achievements, or social trends.

Each market is based on tokenized outcomes, reflecting the overall sentiment of the community. According to the official announcement:

Each market includes tokenized outcomes that reflect how the community is pricing each possibility, and everything appears on the Swaps page under a single, easy-to-browse tab called “Predictions”.

Far from a mere game, prediction markets are a new language. They allow collective intuition to be translated into crypto value. The news becomes speculatable.

From Self-Custody to Super App: Trust Wallet Broadens Its Horizon

With Predictions, Trust Wallet reinforces its vision: a unified experience in a single app. No need to create a new account or transfer funds. All bets are on-chain, based on your existing tokens.

From the Swaps page, access is direct, mobile-first, designed for the Web3 user. The integration of Polymarket (via Swaps.xyz) and Kalshi (via Dflow on Solana) will add other streams. Geographic rules are automatically managed by each provider. Trust Wallet does not resolve any bets nor collect any funds: it acts as a trusted interface.

This hybrid structure makes the wallet a strategic hub. You invest there, observe there, act there. Finance, prediction, and opinion merge. All without leaving the environment of a crypto wallet.

Key Takeaways in Numbers and Facts

$100 million: cumulative volume on Myriad since March 2025;

3 integrated platforms: Myriad (live), Polymarket and Kalshi (upcoming);

Geo-localized access by jurisdiction, via geofencing;

Predictions feature: integrated into the wallet’s Swaps page;

100% on-chain: each bet is recorded in the user’s wallet.

Although this novelty captivates, prediction markets remain controversial. In the United States, Kalshi faces a class action lawsuit for alleged unauthorized sports betting. Despite this legal ambiguity, the crypto community seems determined to claim its place in this ecosystem where information turns into jackpot.
