Horizen

We are pleased to announce that Horizen (ZEN) has been added to our platform, and users can trade it with absolutely no fees.
What is HorizenHorizen is a blockchain network designed to offer a secure, scalable, and privacy conscious foundation for decentralized applications. The project originally launched in 2017 under the name ZenCash before evolving into a full ecosystem centered on advanced cryptography and flexible architecture. Today Horizen operates as an appchain within Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 environment, giving it access to the strength of the broader Ethereum ecosystem while maintaining its focus on zero knowledge technology.
This setup allows developers to build chains tailored to their use cases, whether they require transparent activity or privacy preserving transactions. As a result, Horizen can support a wide variety of applications, including finance, digital identity, enterprise tools, and data management systems that need confidentiality and compliance readiness. Its emphasis on verifiable privacy ensures that information stays protected while still allowing correctness to be proven, making it a suitable platform for practical, real world solutions that require efficiency and trust.
What is ZENZEN is the core digital asset that fuels the Horizen ecosystem. It was initially introduced as a Proof of Work currency with a fixed limit of twenty one million units. As Horizen expanded and transitioned to a more advanced infrastructure through Base, ZEN adopted the ERC20 token format to improve compatibility, liquidity, and integration within Ethereum based applications.
Within the network, ZEN is used for transaction fees, interactions with applications built on zero knowledge technology, and participation in governance processes. Holders can also contribute to initiatives that advance the ecosystem, supporting both development and long term sustainability. The token plays a central role in maintaining economic balance across the platform and ensures that resources are aligned with ongoing security and growth objectives.
