Introduction

The wait is over. Tomorrow, November 27, 2025, the BZE network executes its most ambitious infrastructure update to date: The V8 Upgrade.

This release is not a standard iteration; it is a fundamental restructuring of the chain’s capabilities. By bundling multiple major enhancements into a single release, we are leapfrogging intermediate development stages to deliver a faster, more flexible, and economically robust network.

Here is the deep dive into what V8 unlocks for traders, developers, and the BZE community.

1. Automated Market Makers (AMMs):

V8 introduces Automated Market Makers (AMMs) to the BZE network, effectively creating a hybrid trading environment.

Best of Both Worlds: Users can now utilize instant swaps via liquidity pools alongside the existing Orderbook DEX.

Flexible Incentives: Unlike standard AMMs, BZE pools offer customizable fee structures. Swap fees can be distributed among Liquidity Providers, the Token Burner, and the Community Pool, ensuring sustainability is baked into every trade.

2. Technical Leap: Cosmos SDK v0.50

In a move designed to future-proof the network, BZE V8 skips intermediate versions (v0.46/v0.47) and upgrades directly to Cosmos SDK v0.50.

Why it matters: This major version jump delivers significantly improved performance, modularity, and a flexible codebase that allows us to iterate faster.

Result: A "snappier" chain capable of handling higher throughput with reduced latency.

3. DApp Ecosystem

To streamline the user experience, the single-app layout is being retired in favor of three specialized interfaces:

The DEX App: Your dedicated hub for trading, liquidity provision, and staking.

The Burning & Raffles App: A gamified interface to view burn events, participate in community raffles, and support token burns (supporting both BZE and third-party tokens).

The Factory App: A new launchpad for builders. Create tokens, launch staking programs, and eventually deploy entire blockchains.

4. Multi-Asset Transaction Fees

Flexibility is key to adoption. With V8, users are no longer forced to hold BZE solely for gas. The network now supports Multi-Asset Fees, allowing you to pay for transactions using a variety of supported tokens. This removes a major friction point for new users entering the ecosystem.

Launch Details

Date: November 27, 2025

Activation Block: 20,237,800

Downtime: The network will pause briefly (approx. 1 minute) at the upgrade height to migrate state.

What Comes Next?

V8 is the foundation. The architecture implemented tomorrow paves the way for Governance Tokens, Minable Tokens, and advanced Creator Tools.

BZE V8 is more than an update—it is the start of a new era.
