Brevis is taking a bold step by improving ZK performance. The team has released the ProverNet whitepaper, introducing a decentralized marketplace designed to make zero-knowledge proof faster, cheaper, and more accessible.

According to Brevis, ProverNet is to elevate ZK performance to a new level. It enables any prover to join the network and offer capacity.

Why ZK Workloads Need a New System

ZK proving workloads vary a lot. Some need speed, others need low cost, and some still need flexibility. Ethereum block proving requires provers to prove most blocks within 10 seconds. Reward distribution tasks may run for hours and process more than 100,000 addresses.

Today we’re releasing the Brevis ProverNet whitepaper.
The first decentralized marketplace for ZK proof generation, built from our experience after 250M+ production proofs across PancakeSwap, Uniswap, Euler, Linea, MetaMask, and so much more.

Brevis has already delivered over 250 million production proofs across major platforms. These platforms include PancakeSwap, Uniswap, Euler, Linea, and MetaMask. These real-world cases prove that ZK proving is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Different apps need different hardware. Some need high-performance GPUs. Some use custom cryptographic coprocessors and run in strict latency windows. While others only care about throughput. ProverNet aims to match the appropriate prover with the corresponding job.

How ProverNet Works

ProverNet uses a system called TODA. It stands for Truthful Online Double Auction. It matches provers and applications in real time. Both sides submit bids, and the system then identifies the best match.
In TODA, the best strategy is to bid truthfully. There should be no hidden incentives involved. There is no uncertainty about the actions of others. The mechanism also supports job splits. Therefore, large ZK proofs can function properly because they require multiple provers working together. ProverNet operates on Brevis Chain, ensuring high throughput with no congestion or bottlenecks.

Based on generating over 250 million production proofs for massive protocols like PancakeSwap, Uniswap, and Linea, Brevis has realized that ZK workloads are wildly different.

ProverNet makes ZK proving open, decentralized, and reliable. Developers no longer depend on centralized provisioning services. Provers can earn by offering specialized hardware, and the entire network benefits from stronger ZK performance.

Conclusion

As the system grows, it will bring even better ZK performance, more builders, and a stronger ecosystem for verifiable compute. Brevis is pushing ZK forward in a big way. Through ProverNet, the team is developing a marketplace that will provide a more decentralized, fair, and faster way to prove.
