Puffer Finance initiated a significant token unlock on November 14, 2025, releasing 19.17 million tokens worth approximately $1.56 million, impacting market dynamics and circulating supply.

Puffer Finance has undertaken a substantial token unlock, releasing 19.17 million tokens. This move marks a significant shift in the project's dynamics, attracting attention from major investors.

The project, backed by influential entities like Binance Labs and the Ethereum Foundation, recently secured $47 million from ETHZilla for its restaking initiatives. Blockworks News on EtherFi Developments further cements Puffer Finance's reputation in the crypto landscape.

The token unlock potentially alters market forces by increasing circulating supply. Institutional backing is anticipated to stabilize prices despite this increase.

Experts suggest that the financial impact of the token unlock is buffered by ETHZilla’s $47 million investment. The inflow of capital solidifies community confidence and suggests positive long-term outcomes. As Amir Forouzani, Contributor at Puffer Finance, stated:

"Puffer’s pufETH is a yield bearing token that accrues value over time. Beyond baseline staking rewards, Puffer takes advantage of a combination of compounding and selling strategy of restaking rewards to maximize the returns on restaking."
