It sits at a billion marketcap, and is a solid high-cap project. However, Morpho has a team and partner vesting going on.

Should we sell MORPHO? Let’s find out.

Important Metrics

Morpho has a 1 billion marketcap, and a 2 billion FDV. It has a 7 billion TVL. It has pumped massively in 2025. However, the token has not moved much.

Morpho has over 10 billion USD deposited, out of which 3.7 billion USD worth of loans are active. It earns $344 million in fees annually.

Each quarter, it is improving its fees and earnings. This means, fundamentally, the project is becoming better. Let’s take a look at the price action.

Morpho Price Action

The $MORPHO chart looks extremely bullish. Even when Bitcoin is suffering, and most of the altcoins are dumping, Morpho is holding well.

On the daily time chart, the coin is at a breakout. The $2 resistance has been tested many times, and it has become weak. We can expect a breakout and a 2x-3x pump. When? Give it time.

Morpho Roadmap and Social Aspects

Morpho is active in development. Even though Morpho is focused on Base, a lion’s share of its deposits comes from Ethereum. Also, every other DeFi project is using Morpho’s pool for liquidity and yield.

Aave-Morpho-Pendle has become the base of DeFi. For example, yesterday, an institutional stablecoin project, Utilia has launched its stablecoin yield solution on Morpho.

Institutions can now earn #USDC yield directly from their MPC wallet with full control: https://t.co/w3Bfifo7t1 pic.twitter.com/y1grFHPwLa

Two days back, Apollo Global has put its private credit fund as collateral in Morpho.

Coinbase has launched DeFi Lend, powered by Morpho, available to US users. Crypto.com has announced it will also launch DeFi lending with the help of Morpho. Coinbase knows better than to reinvent the wheel. They saw a working solution with high security, and they adopted it quickly.

We can go on and on. But the gist is that Morpho is getting adopted. In DeFi, growth comes when other projects build on top of your product. This is exactly what is happening.

The Narrative

For any project to succeed, there should be four pillars. Some projects succeed without them, supported by hype and FOMO. But hype and FOMO do not last long. The four pillars are:

Fundamentals.

Price Action.

Social Presence.

Narrative.

Morpho has got the first three pillars in order. But what about the narrative? Coinbase and Base are the biggest narratives driving the project. Coinbase has the most users in the US, and eventually, they all will be exposed to Base (knowingly or unknowingly).

Base might have games, NFTs, privacy-focused apps, and other shiny things on the surface. But the money will always be with DeFi and RWA. This is the biggest narrative. Not just DeFi, but DeFi specifically available for a certain user group through certain organizations.

In the Blockchain Summit, Morpho made it clear. The next goal is to take Wall Street to Morpho. The first step is to make Morpho ready for salaries. Its idea is to receive Wall Street salaries in stablecoin, in Morpho’s vault, and it generates yield. No staking or borrowing needed, just like a savings account. The Morpho team dreams big. And, those who dream big take the sector to new highs.
