Quantus Network today announced the launch of its public testnet, introducing a new wealth preservation platform that is quantum-secure from the ground up. The network integrates post-quantum cryptography (PQC) directly at the protocol layer, making it immune to the coming threat of quantum computing. The testnet allows early users to experience quantum-secure wallets, reversible transactions, and developer tools ahead of the mainnet launch planned for Q1 2026.
Led by Founder and Core Architect Christopher Smith and Co-Founder Joseph Mattia, Quantus Network represents a proactive step toward securing the foundation of digital value before quantum computing poses a real-world threat to existing blockchains. The project also contributes to the Quantum Canary initiative, an educational platform at the intersection of quantum computing and blockchain.

“The whole spirit of blockchain is about enshrining property rights irrevocably,” said Chris, Founder of Quantus Network. “Quantus will end the debate by giving property rights to everyone on planet Earth.”

Post-quantum algorithms such as Kyber, Dilithium, and SPHINCS+ are the NIST-approved global baseline for quantum-resistant systems. Quantus is among the first to integrate these standards directly into its base layer. It combines Proof-of-Work security, post-quantum cryptography, and reversible transactions to protect digital assets, positioning itself as a quantum-secure wealth preservation platform.

“The encryption that built crypto will not last forever,” said Joe, Co-Founder of Quantus Network. “Quantus is our response, a platform built on post-quantum cryptography to ensure wealth endures beyond the limitations of current technology.”

Over 90 percent of blockchains still depend on elliptic-curve cryptography (ECC), which quantum computers will eventually break, putting over $3 trillion in digital assets at risk if migration does not occur in time. The NSA’s CNSA 2.0 framework mandates post-quantum standards across national security systems by 2030 to 2033, underscoring the urgency of this transition.
Quantus Network’s mission is to preserve long-term digital ownership and access through future-proof cryptography. Its architecture is designed to ensure the foundation of digital wealth endures long after today’s systems expire.
