Traders searching for the best crypto to buy now are prioritizing tangible utility and clear delivery timelines. Among the most frequently mentioned names, Digitap stands out for being a money app, a crypto banking application that brings crypto or fiat together in one interface.

Offering Visa-linked cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay compatibility, fast on and off-ramps, and access to SEPA or SWIFT rails. Crucially, the $TAP crypto presale is live now and has surpassed $1 million raised, adding a clear entry point before listings.

Other notable names include BlockDAG, which continues to build around the Layer-1 plus DAG narrative, with listing and mainnet milestones still on the radar. However, the emphasis on immediate use cases (spending, sending, exchanging) and a token with built-in functions explains why TAP is the current tactical favorite.

Digitap (TAP): Cards, Tap-To-Pay, And Off or On-Ramps In One App

Digitap is an omnibank. In simple terms, it’s an app that lets users move, manage, and make day-to-day payments seamlessly across crypto or fiat. Within the app, users can store and send hundreds of tokens, generate cards, pay with Apple Pay and Google Pay, and use on or off-ramps to convert fiat to crypto and vice versa.

It also supports SEPA and SWIFT transfers for international payments. Added benefits include Visa card compatibility and cashback rewards on purchases. The app’s official beta version is already live, and the $TAP functions as the ecosystem’s access-and-rewards layer, giving holders exposure to app activity via staking, VIP tiers, and governance, while fee-funded burn mechanics help manage supply.

Holders use $TAP for staking rewards, VIP benefits, and governance, boosting in-app perks such as discounts and other advantages. The design links token economics to real product usage rather than positioning the token as the software engine. In 2025, working utility, like cards, tap-to-pay, and instant conversions, weighs heavily for those who want to use crypto rather than just speculate.

Since TAP is tied to the app, with public rules on supply, burning, and utility, many traders are ranking Digitap ahead as one of the best crypto to buy now when the criteria are real usage and transparent token economics.

Why $TAP leads today: adoption, liquidity, and roadmap indicators.

BlockDAG (BDAG): PoW–DAG Design vs. Delivery

BlockDAG proposes a base layer that pairs PoW consensus with DAG-based ordering with EVM compatibility, enabling concurrent block creation and bridging between UTXO and EVM account models. In practice, the team says it uses a GhostDAG-family ordering approach to arrange parallel blocks into a single canonical history, with BDAG as the network’s native currency.

The project highlights the Awakening Testnet (with explorer, faucet, and IDE) and the X1 app for mobile mining. The goal is to launch the mainnet six months after the presale. These points indicate an active testnet and an ambitious mainnet timeline, though the network has not yet launched.

A DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) differs from a linear blockchain by allowing multiple blocks to be added in parallel and then ordered to achieve higher throughput, using GhostDAG to converge the structure. However, its real utility still depends on a live mainnet, dApp adoption, and functioning mining infrastructure and pools.

Head-To-Head: What Traders Are Prioritizing Now

Product and Utility Today

$TAP: Active app with virtual, plastic, and metal cards; Apple and Google Pay integration; crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto swaps; remittances; and direct onboarding.

$BDAG: Public testnet with explorer, faucet, and EVM toolkit, plus the X1 mobile miner in beta. Mainnet remains the next key milestone.

Short-Term Catalysts (2025)

$TAP: Expansion of account plans (Wallet, Virtual, Pro, Premium, and Business) and broader payment scope, including global on and off-ramp and banking transfers.

$BDAG: Communicated goal of launching mainnet roughly six months after the presale, with continued testnet, explorer, and X1 app updates.

Perceived Execution Risk

Digitap: Lower, for traders who prioritize immediate usability, since the app and cards are already live.

BlockDAG: Higher, until the mainnet and exchange listings are completed.

User Profile

$TAP: For users who want to spend, send, and exchange now, and value a token with transparent public rules.

$BDAG: For those willing to accept roadmap risk in exchange for exposure to a PoW + DAG Layer 1 still in development.

Verdict: Why Traders Are Ranking TAP Ahead Of BDAG

At the moment, Digitap’s practical advantage lies in deliverability, a live app, cards compatible with Apple and Google Wallet, SEPA and SWIFT transfers, and fiat-crypto swaps all within the same environment.

These features allow immediate use without depending on future network events. For traders who prioritize functionality today, that carries more weight. BlockDAG retains technical potential (DAG + PoW, EVM compatibility) and an active testnet, explorer, and X1 ecosystem, but it remains pre-mainnet.
