The cryptocurrency market continues to evolve, $NEAR, the native token of the NEAR Protocol, is catching the eye of investors and analysts alike. Renowned crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe shared a compelling chart on X, suggesting that $NEAR is currently in an attractive accumulation zone.

With AI-driven projects gaining momentum, van de Poppe predicts a potential rally fueled by the upcoming halving of $TAO (Bittensor) in four to five weeks, which could lift $NEAR alongside it. The chart highlights a crucial resistance zone to break through, indicating a pivotal moment for the token’s price action.

Van de Poppe’s optimism is further bolstered by the anticipated release of a podcast featuring Illia Polosukhin, NEAR’s co-founder, next week. This discussion is expected to shed light on the future of AI and $NEAR, potentially sparking renewed interest.

NEAR’s unique position as a blockchain optimized for AI agents, with its sharding technology and low transaction fees, aligns perfectly with the growing demand for scalable, AI-centric infrastructure. The recent introduction of stateless validation in Nightshade 2.0 enhances its scalability, making it a strong contender in the AI-blockchain race.

Upcoming Podcast to Boost Market Awareness and Momentum

However, the market sentiment is mixed. Some community members on X express skepticism, arguing that $TAO’s institutional backing might overshadow $NEAR. Others see $NEAR’s lower prices as a buying opportunity, especially with its recent halving and robust ecosystem developments, such as the Shade Agents framework. As the AI narrative gains traction, $NEAR’s ability to capitalize on these trends could determine its next move.

For now, the accumulation zone presents a strategic entry point for investors willing to weather potential volatility. With the podcast on the horizon and $TAO’s halving looming, all eyes are on $NEAR. Will it break through resistance and ride the AI wave? The coming weeks will be telling.
