Everstake, the largest global non-custodial staking provider for institutional and retail clients, has partnered with Colossus Digital, the institutional custody-to-yield infrastructure provider, to deliver custody-controlled, policy-driven staking at global scale. The collaboration integrates Everstake’s enterprise-grade validator infrastructure with Colossus Digital’s Institutional Hub, providing banks, asset managers, funds, exchanges, and other financial institutions with direct access to staking rewards while maintaining full custody, compliance, and governance controls.
According to EY, 86% of institutional investors already have or plan to gain exposure to digital assets in 2025, with over a third (35%) exploring staking as a source of yield. Yet, regulatory (57%) and compliance (55%) challenges continue to be the primary barriers to broader DeFi adoption. This partnership bridges that gap by combining Colossus Digital’s custody-agnostic hub with Everstake’s globally distributed, compliant staking infrastructure with 99.98% uptime.
Through Colossus Digital’s Institutional Hub, institutions can now stake Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Near, Cardano, and more than 20 other Proof-of-Stake assets with Everstake directly from their existing custody provider of choice, such as Fireblocks, Ledger Enterprise, or Dfns and more. All staking transactions remain authorized within the custody environment, inheriting the same governance rules, whitelists, and security controls already in place. This approach ensures that all assets remain fully under the client’s and their custody control, in full alignment with established custody policies throughout the staking process.
This collaboration unlocks institutional participation in staking at scale. Colossus Digital provides the custody integration and policy framework, while Everstake delivers the validator infrastructure and network coverage needed to mobilize capital efficiently across multiple blockchains.

“Institutions need staking infrastructure that is both secure and institution-ready. By connecting Everstake’s high-performance validator network with our Institutional Hub, we make it possible for institutions to participate in staking without operational or compliance trade-offs,” said Lorenzo Barbantini Scanni, CRO & Co-Founder of Colossus Digital.

“For too long, institutions have faced a difficult choice: yield or control. This partnership with Colossus Digital finally eliminates that dilemma,” said Bohdan Opryshko, Co-Founder & COO at Everstake. “By embedding our secure, enterprise-grade validator infrastructure within their Institutional Hub, we ensure that staking is custody-controlled, policy-driven, and fully integrated with the financial standards institutions already rely on. It’s the compliant bridge institutions need to confidently enter the staking ecosystem.”
