Bitget has registered a significant milestone, with its institutional trading volume hitting $23.1 billion in 2025. The Universal Exchange (UEX) framework has been pivotal in driving global adoption, particularly enhancing liquidity and integrated tokenized asset access.
Led by CEO Gracy Chen, Bitget’s expansion emphasizes bridging centralized and decentralized finance. Key institutional partners include Laser Digital and Fenbushi Capital, which contributed notably to the platform's positive net inflows, indicating a shift to institutional-grade trading.
The market impact has been substantial, with institutional clients accounting for 80% of Bitget’s trading volume. This uptick signifies enhanced execution quality and liquidity across major cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, and SOL, even amid volatility. Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, stated, "The UEX model is a bridge connecting centralized and decentralized finance, aimed at delivering institutional-grade liquidity and integrated tokenized asset access."
Financial shifts within Bitget include monthly average volumes nearing $750 billion, with derivatives taking a major share. The strong liquidity and trading execution quality were comparable to peers like Bybit, reflecting a robust market structure and high institutional confidence.
The focus on enhanced custody and lending facilities has enabled Bitget to support large institutional trades. Partnerships with companies like Fireblocks and Copper ensure secure asset protection, crucial for risk management in volatile markets. Latest developments from BeinCrypto on blockchain news.
