The TOTAL3 chart has a typical cup and handle with a continuous accumulation and an increasing strength of buyers on the altcoin markets.

The breakout of above $1.1T would result in momentum buying, with the measured targets of $1.5T, 2T and 3T drawing back the market activity.

The handle consolidation indicates few downward volatilities, as buyers dominate the market, and this needs to be greatly uplifted in the capitalization of the altcoins.

The TOTAL3 chart, which reflects the total crypto market cap without bitcoin or ether, is currently establishing a cup and handle structure. Furthermore, price action would indicate increased buying pressure, meaning a breakout could occur this week on the two week timeframe.

The TOTAL3 chart demonstrates a rounded cup followed by a short handle, signaling consolidation before potential upward momentum. Jonathan Carter notes the pattern reflects accumulation from 2021 through 2024, showing steady market participation.

The handle indicates controlled profit-taking, with price action consolidating just below the $1.1 trillion resistance level. This area serves as the neckline of the pattern, where a sustained two-week close could confirm a breakout.

Market behavior shows tightening price action with limited downside volatility. Such dynamics indicate that sellers are losing influence, and buyers are gradually gaining control.

Technical indicators such as RSI and MACD, and rising volume, are being watched close. A jump in these indicators with a surge in volume during a breakout would provide support for THE continuation of the bullish structure.

Breakout Targets and Market Considerations

Should the TOTAL3 pattern confirm, measured projections suggest prospective targets of $1.5 trillion, $2.0 trillion, and $3.0 trillion, or potential returns of about +50%, +100%, and +200% based upon the current level of roughly $990 billion. There is historical liquidity and psychological levels at these prices, therefore clearly defined trading levels.

A retest of the breakout zone may occur, where previous resistance could become support. Successful retests typically confirm market structure, attracting renewed buying interest.

Failure to maintain levels above $1.1 trillion or a decline below the handle’s low would invalidate the pattern. Traders would then observe consolidation, as momentum shifts away from bullish control.

The TOTAL3 cup and handle formation suggests the altcoin market is positioning for potential expansion. Sustained accumulation and tightening price action reflect growing market readiness, indicating that TOTAL3 may enter a strong upward phase in the near term.
