Uniswap (UNI) has been one of the most important projects in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space, molding how traders interact with liquidity pools and decentralized exchanges. As DeFi prepares for its next big push, investors and analysts are revisiting the long-term Uniswap price forecast for 2025, 2026 and 2027.
With protocol upgrades, on-chain activity and institutional interest in DeFi tokens, UNI’s long-term trajectory will be important to the next phase of Web3.

What Is Uniswap (UNI)?

Uniswap is an Ethereum-based decentralized exchange (DEX) that uses an automated market maker (AMM) model and on-chain liquidity pools instead of an order book.
Launched in 2018; Uniswap changed token swapping by allowing users to trade against pooled liquidity and earn fees for liquidity providers. Its governance token $UNI is an ERC-20 token used for protocol governance and voting.
Over time; Uniswap has expanded to multiple chains and Layer 2 networks (Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, etc.) to enable faster and cheaper trades.
By mid-2025, the platform’s innovations: Uniswap V3’s concentrated liquidity and V4’s “hooks” feature, have driven notable adoption. V4 has processed around $100 billion in trading volume since launch.
Uniswap’s focus on low fees and trustless trading has made it a one-of-a-kind in DeFi, second only to PancakeSwap in volume.

Factors Affecting Uniswap Price Forecast

More DeFi usage and Uniswap’s TVL can support price. Uniswap’s multi-chain strategy has expanded the user base. Layer-2 networks drive most trades, which will increase as gas costs rise on the Ethereum mainnet. For example, Coinbase’s Base L2 recently hit $200B trading volume on Uniswap, showing a lot of demand.
Upgrades like Uniswap V4 launched early 2025, bring new features which can increase usage. Uniswap’s Unichain L2 is now handling almost 50% of v4’s volume.
These improvements can improve capital efficiency and attract more liquidity providers which can raise $UNI’s price.
Like all crypto, $UNI is sensitive to the larger market cycle and investor sentiment. In bull markets, DEX tokens often rally, in bear markets or periods of regulation uncertainty they may lag.
Recent Fear & Greed metrics (mid-2025) are moderate, reflecting cautious market conditions. Regulatory developments (e.g. global DeFi oversight) also add uncertainty.
Other DEXs and CeFi exchanges indirectly compete for volume. $UNI’s fixed supply and distribution means price can react strongly to changes in demand.

Uniswap’s Recent Developments

Uniswap V4 launched early 2025 with hooks, singleton architecture and gas reductions. V4 has seen growth: in 6 months; it hit about $100B in volume and over 2,500 custom hook-powered pools were created.
Uniswap’s integration with Coinbase’s Base chain has been a big one. Base is almost driving $200B of Uniswap volume. Base’s user-friendly on-ramp and infrastructure improvements have made Uniswap trading faster and cheaper. Uniswap’s own L2 (Unichain) now handles almost 50% of V4 volume.
The Uniswap Foundation proposed creating a Wyoming-based nonprofit (“DUNI”) to give the DAO legal standing. This could reduce regulatory risks and allow actions like activating protocol fees or treasury strategies which could indirectly support $UNI’s price by making governance more robust.

Technical Analysis

Uniswap’s UNI token has been consolidating in a wide range since peaking near $45 in 2021, forming a long accumulation pattern between $4 and $15. This range defines the primary macro support zone near the lower end ($4–$6) and a major resistance zone near $15-$20, the threshold for a new uptrend.
UNI’s long term trend follows the DeFi and Ethereum market cycles. When DeFi TVL surged in 2020-2021, $UNI reached its all-time high. When DeFi TVL dropped in 2022, $UNI retraced by over 80%, back to long-term moving average levels, typical of crypto asset cycles.
Over multi-year timeframes, $UNI’s 50-week and 200-week moving averages were the major trend indicators. Analysts also note a long term symmetrical triangle pattern, building energy for the next big bull run.
In the macro view; $UNI’s structure appears neutral-to-bullish. Experts say accumulation is underway, and long-term indicators seem stable. If $UNI can sustain above $10-$12 in future cycles, it will confirm the breakout and $UNI will retest its previous highs in the next bull runs.

Uniswap Price Forecast for 2025

Analysts are bullish on $UNI in 2025. $UNI is expected to settle and potentially go up if DeFi continues to grow. Forecasts vary but most are around moderate upsides from current levels.
According to Coinpedia, $UNI is projected to trade between $4.23 and $16.91 in 2025, with a median around $10.58 depending on market conditions and user activity on the Uniswap protocol. CoinCodex also has a wide range of $6.75 and $14.42 which is in line with other analysts.
On the lower end; CCN has $UNI dropping to around $4.55 under bearish pressure and $16.19 if DeFi liquidity and Ethereum network adoption grows.
Overall; 2025 is expected to be a recovery and accumulation year where $UNI will average around $8 to $12 as investors return to decentralized exchanges (DEXs); and tokenized liquidity pools.
Here is a consolidated monthly forecast for 2025, based on research:

Uniswap Price Forecast for 2026

By the time markets hit 2026, the consensus is that Uniswap will have moved from the recovery phase into a moderate growth phase, provided the crypto market keeps on growing and DeFi adoption really takes off around the world.
According to 3Commas, $UNI could end up trading between $10.26 and $11.88, which suggests steady but by no means explosive growth. SwapSpace are calling for a slightly higher range of $11 to $14, owing to rising transaction volumes and the potential for important protocol upgrades.
And then there’s LongForecast, who think $UNI could jump all the way up to $16.82 by the end of 2026, but only if the stars align and macroeconomic trends are in favor.
In short, most forecasts are pointing to 2026 as a time when Uniswap will really start to consolidate and expand and prices will likely end up bouncing around between $11 and $15 in normal conditions, though with the potential to push up towards $16–17 if the crypto market as a whole stays bullish.

Uniswap Price Forecast for 2027

The forecasts for 2027 are a lot more upbeat than for 2026; and that reflects the long-term faith that many analysts have in Uniswap’s model for decentralized trading and governance.
According to Cryptopolitan, $UNI could see some serious growth in that year, with projected prices ranging from $22.59 to $31.11, averaging out at around $28.66. A recent Binance research post is also calling for it, with potential lows of $9.68, a base estimate of $24.16, and a whole lot more if markets have a really strong run.
LongForecast projects $UNI to hang around $20.87 by year’s end, which seems fairly in line with expectations of moderate growth. The Coin Republic are being more cautious, saying they think prices will probably end up between $13 and $16 if DeFi adoption happens at a slower pace.
If these estimates are put together, 2027 starts to look like it might be the year that Uniswap actually matures into a mid-cap DeFi blue chip, and the market could see prices end up in the $18 to $25 zone on average or, under the right conditions, breaking past the $30 to $35 barrier.
Across the next three years, Uniswap’s trajectory is looking like a steady recovery and possibly long-term growth, provided a few things go right: Below is a summary of what the forecast might look like:

Year

Forecast Range (Low–High, USD)

Comment

2025

$8 – $12

Significant gain likely

2026

$11 – $15

Uncertain; some expect further rise in bull case

2027

$18 – $25

Broader range; peak potential in late-2020s, possibly higher in a bull market

If everything falls into place, that is, if macroeconomic conditions and regulations are looking good, and $UNI gets some decent adoption and network upgrades, $UNI could be near the front of the pack come 2027. But, as with all forecasts, the actual outcome will depend on a whole bunch of factors, like how the market feels about DeFi and how the global economy is doing.

Conclusion

Based on the latest analysis, Uniswap’s long term outlook is cautiously bullish. DeFi growth, layer-2 scalability and protocol innovation (V4, tokenomics) are strong boosters. If the overall crypto market turns positive, many analysts expect $UNI to move into double digits by 2025–2026.
However, risks remain; regulatory changes, market volatility, or technical flaws could cap gains. According to the analysis, $UNI could end 2025 roughly around $10. By 2027, under bullish conditions, $UNI might reach high tens or low $20’s.
$UNI could modestly outperform many altcoins if DeFi growth continues, with notable resistance levels to watch at $8-$9. Downside risks could keep it at $5–$6 if market turns sour.
Investors must note that all forecasts are speculative, and as always, should do their own research.

Frequently Asked Questions About Uniswap Price Forecast

What drives Uniswap’s price?

Uniswap’s price is tied to its usage and the overall DeFi market. Factors include trading volume , adoption of Uniswap’s DEX , network upgrades and general crypto market sentiment. Regulatory news and competition also impact price. Healthy growth in decentralized trading tends to lift $UNI, while crypto bear markets or negative regulation can suppress it.

Will $UNI hit $10 or more by 2025?

Many analysts think so. Forecasts as of late 2025 have $UNI at $10 or more by year end. Some even project $15; if markets are super bullish.

How does Uniswap’s governance token work?

$UNI is a governance token. Holders can propose and vote on protocol changes (fee structures, treasury use etc.). It doesn’t pay dividends or “yield” on its own. Its value is driven by demand for governance and the overall health of the Uniswap ecosystem.

Is Uniswap a safe investment?

Uniswap is established and audited but like all crypto it’s risky. The smart contracts have had no major hacks to date so the tech is solid. But crypto markets are volatile. Regulatory changes, market crashes or on-chain exploits could affect price. Always DYOR.
