While most traders are glued to short-term charts, a growing number of on-chain analysts are spotting something deeper brewing with Ethena.
According to market analyst Teddy, the recent market chaos has actually created a setup that could favor smart money, and possibly hint at a quiet accumulation phase that most retail traders are missing.
Let’s start with the basics. ENA price dipped into the $0.40–$0.35 range, which Teddy describes as a “clean window” for anyone looking to reload. That area has historically acted as a demand zone, where price tends to bounce after sharp selloffs.
It’s easy to assume that ENA’s drop is just another sign of weakness, especially with the broader market still shaky. But Teddy’s take suggests that what’s happening under the surface tells a very different story.

Exchange Data Reveals Smart Accumulation

At first glance, ENA’s on-chain data looks bearish; supply on exchanges is rising, while supply outside exchanges continues to fall. That usually means more tokens are being prepared for sale. But as Teddy points out, context is everything.

When you look at the 30-day moving average of exchange inflows vs. outflows, the picture flips. Outflows, tokens leaving exchanges, have been consistently higher than inflows, creating a +500,000 ENA gap in favor of outflows.
That’s a major sign that accumulation is happening quietly in the background. It means larger holders and institutions are likely pulling tokens off exchanges for long-term storage or staking, effectively reducing the available supply in the open market.
So while retail traders are panicking over every red candle, smart money might be taking advantage of the volatility to build their positions.

That said, the accumulation trend doesn’t mean ENA price will shoot up overnight. Teddy still warns about a potential liquidity sweep in the $0.24–$0.22 range, which he calls a “high-interest liquidity pocket.”
In simple terms, this is where big players might intentionally drive the price slightly lower to trigger stop-losses and shake out weak hands, only to buy back in at cheaper levels. It’s a classic move in crypto markets, especially during sideways phases like this.
If Ethena price does revisit that zone, it could present another opportunity for accumulation before any major recovery phase begins.

Big Picture: Smart Money Is Watching Flows, Not Price

Teddy ends his analysis with a reminder that perfectly sums up the current market mood: “While the crowd watches price, smart money watches flows.”
In other words, price action alone doesn’t tell the full story. On-chain flows, like exchange movements, outflows, and long-term wallet activity, often reveal what’s really happening beneath the surface.
The data right now shows a steady build-up of long-term positions. And in a market as sentiment-driven as crypto, those quiet periods of accumulation often come before major upside moves.
So while ENA price might still seem relatively weak on the surface, the underlying on-chain fundamentals paint a different picture. The smart money is not panicking, they are positioning. And if history is any guide, that means Ethena can be building the foundation for an upset comeback sooner rather than later than most expect.
