Binance Coin (BNB) is once again in the spotlight after smashing through its previous all-time high. According to Binance market data, the BNB price just crossed the $1,200 mark, reaching a new record at $1,214.42. The token is up by 3.47% in the past 24 hours, continuing a strong multi-week uptrend. This rally comes amid heavy market volatility – Coinglass data shows that $256 million worth of positions were liquidated in the last 24 hours alone, including $177 million in longs and $79.11 million in shorts.
BNB’s latest surge reinforces its position as one of the strongest performers among large-cap cryptos this cycle. Despite broader market choppiness, BNB’s steady climb reflects growing investor confidence in Binance’s ecosystem and the deflationary model behind its quarterly token burns. As Bitcoin consolidates around its new $125K ATH, capital rotation into high-performing altcoins like BNB appears to be gaining momentum.

Looking at the 4-hour chart, BNB’s price action in late September showed a brief consolidation phase between $900 and $1,000. That sideways movement allowed the market to reset before buyers stepped back in, driving an explosive rally into early October. The breakout above $1,100 triggered a wave of new long positions, and momentum carried it into uncharted territory above $1,200.

The RSI currently sits around 74, indicating BNB is approaching overbought territory, though not yet flashing extreme danger. This suggests short-term cooling is possible but not guaranteed – strong momentum can keep RSI elevated for extended periods during bull phases.
Looking at derivatives data, net longs are building gradually, while net shorts remain relatively low. This imbalance shows that most traders are still positioned for further upside, though a sudden liquidation event could trigger a temporary pullback. Meanwhile, open interest has ticked higher in recent sessions, confirming that new money is entering the market – a classic sign of growing speculative interest.
The MACD lines also support the bullish bias. The fast-moving line is still above the signal line, and histogram bars are expanding, showing that momentum remains positive. As long as this structure holds, BNB could maintain its upward trajectory.
In the short term, BNB may test the $1,250–$1,270 resistance zone next. If bulls push past that, the next psychological target sits near $1,300. However, a brief correction toward the $1,100–$1,120 area would be healthy before continuation. Given the strong fundamentals, technical setup, and exchange activity, the overall trend remains firmly bullish for now.
BNB holders should watch for sustained volume near the $1,200 level – if it holds, the next leg up might not be far away.
