The FLOKI price is absolutely smashing it today. The popular meme coin is one of the top gainers among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap, surging more than 30% in the last 24 hours and pushing its valuation back above $1 billion.
So, what’s behind this sudden move? Analyst Unpicks, who has more than 220,000 followers on X, broke it down perfectly.
He pointed out that FLOKI has “erased a zero” and become the number one gainer on Binance – yet the broader crypto community is still barely talking about it. According to him, the answer lies in FLOKI’s deep ties to the BNB ecosystem, which has been the strongest-performing network over the past month.
Unpicks called this “peak BNB season,” explaining that FLOKI has historically acted as a leveraged BNB beta play. When BNB rallies, FLOKI tends to follow with even stronger percentage gains. With BNB now sitting around a $165 billion market cap, the timing of FLOKI’s move makes perfect sense.

But the analyst also stressed that FLOKI’s current position in the market is unique. It’s the only BNB-chain memecoin available on all four major retail-friendly platforms – Binance, Coinbase, Robinhood, and Revolut – plus it now has a regulated exchange-traded product (ETP). That means everyday investors can easily access it across nearly every major on-ramp.
In fact, outside of the BNB token itself, FLOKI is the only other BNB-based project with an ETP. Combined with its wide accessibility and liquidity, it stands out as a clear favorite for larger traders looking for exposure to the BNB narrative.
Unpicks also noted that FLOKI is one of the few meme coins that has survived multiple market cycles and set a new all-time high this cycle, while even DOGE and SHIB haven’t reclaimed half of their previous peaks. He credits this resilience to the project’s relentless global marketing push over the past four years – from sponsorships with major sports teams to advertising on buses, airports, and billboards.
He summed it up by saying he hasn’t seen any crypto project nail mainstream marketing like FLOKI, outside of top exchanges with massive budgets.
As Unpicks put it, “for as long as the BNB mania lasts, there isn’t a more obvious play than FLOKI if you want to trade with serious size without worrying about liquidity.”
And with retail traders just starting to notice the move, it might only be a matter of time before the rest of the market catches up.
